This was maybe my favorite night of battles, great battles and perfect decisions from the coaches. I wouldn't change a thing on the decisions, I would choose exactly the same, and also perfect steals, Hanna and Even would be the hardest losses. 

 

- Even vs Nola: I was really worried about it cause I love both, and only Espen had a steal left to save on of them. The battle was beautiful, both their tones shined and I still can't choose between them, I could only wish for the steal to happen, and gracefully it did.

- Kirsti vs Lavrans: The song suited him much better than her, but the way that song was perfect for his voice is indescribable. Listening to him here is impossible to make a different decision.

- Amalie vs Hanna vs Trine: I already loved Hanna and Trine form their auditions, but this battle surprised, cause it isn't an easy song to work with. The 3 of did a great job together, and it would be hard to choose only based on that performance, cause they were really even. Trine and Hanna tones though, it's undeniable. 

- Irina vs Mari: Another battle that I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted as the result. Irina was the undeniable choice for me. Mari socked me here, her tone was great to hear on this song. I still have special feelings for Irina though, and I couldn't see her go so soon. If there was 1 more steal, Mari would deserve it 100%.

 

The battles from team Espen were also really good, but I have nothing to say about it, Julian and Herman were my choices from the auditions, and their battles didn't change anything on my opinion. Maybe I expected a little bit more from Herman.

Battles over, and my team is almost fully through to the Knockouts. Only Vetle was lost, but I can't complain cause that is probably the year where I agreed the most with the coache's choices on The Voice Norway battles. Usually I lost half my favorites that soon on the competition lol Now I have to hope that the coaches keep doing that good choices and the audience doesn't screw it when the time comes

Hi! This is my first time writing a comment here! I've been watching The Voice Norway for 4 years now.

 

I was so sad about the pairing and actual results for the KOs bc

9/10 were in my Top 15 (7/10 were in my top12) and they all would've been the frontrunners for each teams if they were up against someone else.

 

Adele vs Kristina

 

 Kristina has a very angelic unique tone and

even tho I didn't care for her audition(bc of the song I've heard better one ), she got me in her Battle. She was my top6 and 

Adele also is talented singer with her unique emotion into songs she sang.

They were Yosef's Top2 strongest artists and I was very sad that he putted two together.

Adele deserved to move on, but Kristina was no way near that deserve to be eliminated this early.

 

Same goes with Andreas vs Trine, and Joakim vs Sigrid.

They were all my top10 and While I loved Trine better, Andreas didn't deserved to go home either. But I knew Ina would only take one of Joakim/Andreas(their tone are very similar) so Ina went with Joakim (But I loved Sigrid better) 

 

Marita won fairy against Karoline but Karoline's audition was spectacular so it's sad to see her eliminated too.

First of all, I'm baffled by the production team. Like, WTH!!! they scrapped the concept of stealing in the knockout round. When they already know that the talent is on another level. I complained about this situation since this is the 4 season in a row, where early favorites and potential winners were eliminated in knockouts.

 

Now, the next thing is that Yosef needs to go, the fact that he never won a single season is hence, proved once again. So he better take off next season.

 

Let's start with;

Karoline vs Marita 

- I didn't find anything special or feel connected with Marita. But, Karoline grows so much. She deserved to move on.

Joakim vs Sigrid

- Sigrid is too good but like Joakim sadly this was his weakest. Plus battle steals hardly survived the knockouts.

Herman Vs Rebecca

- I liked their blinds and battles but this time both of them deserved to be eliminated. I gave a slight edge to Herman because her song choice was poor.

Andreas vs Trine

- Both slayed!!! Trine deserved to move on. She gave the best performance but Andreas was robbed. I wish the pairings were swapped and he went against Joakim or Sigrid.

Adele vs Kristina

- I am flabbergasted by this decision. First of all, when I saw the song choices, I had a gut feeling that Kristina was gone but when I watched her performance I cried and goosebumps all over me. Adele was equally good.  But losing Kristina this early and the fact that you are deprived of her live performances is just insane. I really hope she comes back next year.

 

 

Fun Fact: I was actually prepared for the worst outcome and as expected two potential winners were robbed.

I like The Voice Norge a lot and there have been some quality performances this season, but the brutal elimination process has been a bit of a turn off for me in recent seasons. I've been following this year but I'm keeping my distance because I just know I'll get my hopes crushed once KOs start.

 

That being said, the two people that stood out to me from the past two rounds are Alexander Dokken () and Bjorn Olav Hrvatsigen (or however you spell his last name. I hope they survive the KO onslaught.

As I said it here before, I love the voice norway auditions but I always get frustrated with the coaches choices after that. What surprised me is that they didn't messed the things up on the battles, they made really good choices, and to me, on Norway that's news lol

 

Now things are back to normal on The Voice Norway, and we can wait much more of those awful decisions lol No one is safe and anyone can win.

The good part is that everyone is good, so that'll still be good performances, but it's sad to see the most special ones going so soon.

 

My prediction for the win is Tor Vidar Rennestraum. He's not even close my favorite, def not my style, but it's close to old winner's style and people on the comments seems to really like him.
