  1. I understand. Sad to see Jedward go from you, but oh well. Your restriction was even seasons? I don’t know if I know anyone else you nominated, but you can probably tell me. And you know!
  2. “Deathbed” was my favorite, so sad and surprised that was the one first cut. I like the song Ben chose though and he sounds great on it. Kind of surprised they didn’t chose to shorten its title more.
  3. Reuben A.K.A. Experiment 625 I love Reuben and don't want to make this cut, but I didn't want to cut anyone else's wildcard if I could avoid it, even though one of mine was cut. So I will make it worse for myself and cut a second one of my own. At least I can save the third and remove all my WCs from the remaining options, if that helps anyone out - but probably not, because the rest are still other people's WC picks. Anyway, I hope the save choice I made here will have more longevity, since I have not see a single other person express love for Reuben ( ), but only time will tell. Now let's talk about Reuben A.K.A. Experiment 625 AKA SANDWICH LOVING ICON. I remember doing a write-up on Stitch! The Movie in the Disney Movies rankdown (which I also did not want to cut but had no options, so apparently this is the trend ) , where I highlighted Reuben in all his glory. Reuben was robbed and deserved to be immune with the rest of the Stitch family, but I guess he doesn't count since he didn't appear until the sequel, so it's up to me to make him feel like he counts in this write-up because he DOES. Reuben is an illegal genetic experiment created by Jumba Jookiba and he is a MAJOR CHARACTER in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. He is a friendly, intelligent, humble, and sympathetic little golden yellow koala/marmot-like experiment who resembles Stitch. As mentioned, he first appears in Stitch! The Movie as another failed prototype (fail = win to me in this case ) because he is not the ultimate monster he was supposed to be. Reuben has all the same powers as Stitch, including the ability to grow extra arms, lift objects up to 3000x his own weight, think faster than a computer, see in the dark, roll into a ball, and scale walls and ceilings. He also has advanced lingual skills. HE IS SO TALENTED. The biggest error in Reuben's programming is that he is incredible lazy, which really means he is relatable to us all. He also secretly thinks of Stitch like a brother, and the feeling is mutual, which is so sweet. Prior to Stitch's creation, Reuben was Jumba's primary lab assistant, where he would work hard to make him sandwiches. Reuben will not do anything more strenuous than make sandwiches and not just any sandwiches, but DELICIOUS ones and pile them high. PILE THOSE SANDWICHES REUBEN. I would like to be first in line to Reuben's sandwich shop, how about you? Maybe an upcoming Stitch sequel. Even though we first get to know him in Stitch! The Movie, Reuben actually appeared in Disney Adventures comics prior to even Lilo & Stitch, where he has blue/green fur. His color was later changed to differentiate him from Stitch. Reuben would go on to appear in Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Leroy & Stitch, and Stitch! anime. In Leroy & Stitch, Reuben proves he is more than a sandwich master, as he helps save the galaxy with his powers. He also makes a cameo in the game Lilo & Stitch 2: Hämsterviel Havoc AND in a parody of High School Musical that aired as part of the High School Musical: Around the World anniversary special. I am sad to be losing two of my three wildcards in this round, but at least I got to give Reuben a write-up of love that he deserves. Saving: Prince Edward
  4. Aw, Ace and Chris were major favorites of mine from their seasons. Sad to see them so low. The other three were okay for me. I didn't care much for Tim or Tristan (I think I liked Tristan more in the earlier rounds though). "Tim made his semifinal debut with Apologize, and well, he needed to apologize to everyone after that performance" Yikes. And I was never a huge Constantine fan, but I did enjoy some of his performances. "Constantine was someone who tried to come off as a rocker when in reality he was a theater geek posing as one." His more theatrical ones were my favorites from him too. Danny is another one I'm disappointed more people on IDF don't care for. I always loved his voice and he's among my secondary favorites from S8. He's doing really well for himself with his career and I love a lot of the songs I've heard from him. I really liked JPL on his season.... and liked EJay well enough too. Not huge on Scott or Chris, but they are other ones that I liked more in the earlier audition stages and less as time went on (especially with Scott). "Clue: Eliminated the week of what may be the most random theme in Idol history (Artists Who Inspired Gwen Stefani? What kind of theme was that?)" I forgot this ever happened. Seriously, what the heck? I don't care for most of them, but I did like Matt. I enjoyed his personality on the Idol shows he hosted later on and thought he was a great fit. He has a nice voice though. I don't have anything to say about the other four.
  5. Chicha Thank you to Alex for letting me keep my cut - I will now repost the write-up from last night. I believe this is the second parent I am cutting in a row, so oops, but Chicha is a supporting role in Emperor's New Groove and not the parent of the star of the movie, at least. She is the caring and pregnant wife of Pacha, and they are the parents of daughter Chacha and twin sons, Tipo and Yupi. And of course, there is a new baby on the way soon, as Chicha is in the later stages of her pregnancy. I just learned from Disney Wiki that Chicha is the first pregnant woman to appear in an animated Disney feature, so that is amazing and special. I also learned that "Chicha was removed and added back into the film numerous times." I wonder why that was and if the same will happen in this rankdown, but I feel like she is a safe cut. Chicha is a very loving mother and wife, and is also very smart. She instills good values in her children, as well as to Kuzco when he lives with the family. I'm not sure what else I want to say about her, but Chicha also makes an appearance in the movie's sequel, Kronk's New Groove, as well as the television series, The Emperor's New School. Saving: Dodger
  6. Oh no, I'm so sorry! I hoped it was an okay cut. But I appreciate this.

  8. I thought I would post this: "Each of the four episodes of Mike & Carrie: God and Country provides insight as to how they, with two distinct personalities and careers, stay grounded in the midst of the many peaks and valleys of their lives." The first two episodes are up here: https://www.iamsecond.com/film/mike-and-carrie/ Ep 1: I Cry Easy Mike and Carrie met and fell in love despite some drastic differences and learned early on that a firm foundation for the relationship was essential. Ep 2: The Wrestle In the midst of what felt like a broken promise, Mike and Carrie wrestled with God, having honest conversations about the miscarriages they experienced.
  9. Sorry I didn't seen this before, but I'm so glad he FINALLY released the album! My favorites of the newer songs are 2016, Hard to Forget, Young Once, and Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90s. Then I still love Kinfolks, Body Like a Back Road, and Downtown's Dead. And you know it's been a long time coming when a single from over three years ago is on the album.
  10. King Fergus King Fergus is the father of Merida, Harris, Hubert, and Hamish, and the husband of Queen Elinor in Brave. They live in the kingdom of DunBroch in the Scottish Highlands, and he is the protector of his family, as well as the entire kingdom. He is a loud, yet kind man, who is very friendly. He loves to have fun and get into fights with others, but also knows when to be serious and maintain rule over his people. King Fergus is a heroic warrior with a majestic bear cape and broad sword, as well as a knobby pen leg, due to a fight with the demon bear, Mor'du, who I cut earlier in the rankdown. He is the complete opposite of his wife, as he does not care so much about tradition, and wants to have fun with his children and not only focus on bringing them up to be royalty. He is supportive of Merida's use of bows, as he believes a person should learn to protect themselves and believes her archery skills leave her well equipped for self-defense. He also doesn't believe any guy is good enough for Merida. We stan that kind of protective father (to an extent). King Fergus is a nice, wise ruler, and loving father, but I am okay with cutting him at this point. Saving: Miss Bunny

  12. Mine might be similar! I feel like I'd have Doc higher, but definitely Dopey at the top. The rest could be like yours, or I could rewatch it and totally change my mind.
  13. Happy This is really not a cut I want to make, but I suppose it's the best option to go with at this point. Happy is one of seven dwarfs in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and they are better known as a group, with a few being stand out favorites. Although, I suppose any of them could be a favorite for someone. I like Happy and don't know where he'd land on my own personal dwarf ranking, but that is something to think about. He is called Happy due to his optimistic and jovial personality. He often has a cheery smile on his face, and loves to share the things he loves - food, dancing, parties - with the other dwarfs. Sharing is caring and that is a thing I learned from Happy the dwarf. FUN FACT: I am reading a collection of Grimm's Fairy Tales, which includes several of the Disney stories in their original form, and none of the dwarfs were named in the original Snow White (which was called Little Snow White). They didn't have distinct personalities and were a collective unit who let Snow White stay in their home if she would do all their chores and household duties for them. It still gets me that she randomly wandered into their cabin in the woods and decided it was a good idea to sleep in their beds. Side note, in the original Cinderella the step-sisters get their eyes pecked out by pigeons. I may not get another chance to share that, so I will do it here. This write-up has really taken a turn now, but my point was that the dwarfs were not named until the Broadway play in 1912, but then Walt Disney changed their names to how we know them for the 1937 movie. The dwarfs are my favorite part of Snow White, so I am in fact, sad (not happy), to be removing happiness from this rankdown. I just hope that Happy can stay happy by joining his fellow fallen dwarfs, including Bashful, who was just cut. Saving: Peter Pan
  14. I totally get that. Oh, I believe I was caught up in the last post and don't see anything I haven't already. I'm ready for more, but thanks for waiting.
  15. omg I had to work so I couldn't be summoned any sooner, but this cracks me up. I'll look out for another time.
  16. I love that she sang a song from each album and wow, such unexpected choices too. "That's Where It Is" and "You Won't Find This" have always been underrated favorites of mine. And yay for closing with "Love Wins." So exciting that she's going to release a Christmas album! I can't wait to learn the track listing and hear her versions of all the songs. It'll all be amazing.
  17. My immunities: Marie Pua Rolly I love animals.
