I thought you would say you’d pick Trump, because he would be easier to beat in the general, which would be a reasonable argument for a Democrat, but there’s always the chance he could win, I guess. Honestly, Trump seems more unhinged now than ever before….

I’m talking about people educated enough on the issue to have an informed opinion…not based on some lies that he wants to ban AA History in high school (which is already mandated for Florida high school students, btw). He just doesn’t want left-wing ideology interlaced into the curriculum. So..they agreed to revise the course to meet the Florida standards, set by legislation.

When you get DeSantis, you get her too. She’s really good on the campaign trail, and not an easy target. If she ever ran for statewide office, she’d win in a landslide.

She travelled to Nashville for a couple years to write, and signed a deal with them when she was 16. After she graduated, she moved down there permanently, and so did her parents. I don’t completely understand everything about how the songwriting business works, but they not only write for themselves, but other artists, as well, and pitch their songs to artists. I mean…it’s her full time job, but the fact that she was able to get the job in the first place, as a teenager growing up in Michigan….

Yeah…I wonder how much time she spent preparing for these? That vast majority of those 92 covers were posted over a span of about a year. That’s almost two per week, and she has to learn the guitar part for each song too. I’m going to guess she picks it up pretty quickly. Like I said, this was great practice for the show, and now, she has at least a week to prepare one song for each round, with no other responsibilities. I’m blown away that she already has 78 co-writes registered with BMI. I’m thinking this is probably rare at that age. That’s the right path to take, IMO. She already has her foot firmly in the door, and it honestly doesn’t matter that much how far she advances on this show.

For instance, Chance could steal NOIVAS back, or Kelly could steal Walker. You never know….

These battle and KO pairings are joint decisions between producers and coaches. Coaches have input, but not the final say. So...if TPTB thinks Team Blake is a little too stacked, they can fix that (and a least one KO steal will likely come from Team Blake).

Something to consider….every season IDF hypes up some of the contestants very early (due to the excitement of getting spoilers, or whatever), and the coaches and/or TPTB don’t always agree. Furthermore, sources are just as biased as we all are, so any feedback should be taken with a grain of salt.

So much is up to the discretion of the producers and the coaches. So, if you’re going to try to make projections for Team Blake, you have to attempt to read his mind without seeing a single performance, or his reaction. Not to mention, we don’t even know KO pairings, songs or results. I posted a just for fun prediction for KO pairings the other day, but I totally expect it to be wrong.

The most important factor in the early rounds for Team Blake is SONG CHOICES. That might help to clear things up a little.

I usually don’t like to attempt to pick a winner before the season starts. I’ll pick a handful of contestants who I think have a good chance of contending, but I think it’s even too early for that. There are a handful of them on Team Blake who are probably capable of winning, depending on several factors. For the other teams, I have no clue whatsoever.

I’m not taking the bait. It’s way too early for this.

Other than the $100K, I doubt anyone can make a convincing argument that winning would have benefitted Wendy much. She’d be doing the same things she currently doing anyway. She stays pretty busy.

They would just find a different excuse, like her level of experience. It was the same exact pattern with Morgan. Ironically, a lot of people complaining about Morgan’s experience were Blake stans who were probably voting for Wendy the season prior. Having said that, there’s no way a 56 year old female would finish as runner-up on any other team, and from a marketability standpoint, I can’t argue with a GNT win.

Kelly might still be able to win with the right teen female, but not this season.

It’s the dumbest twist they’ve ever done by far. Based on how often Blake is reminding the audience that this is his last season, I don’t see any way he doesn’t win again. There’s no Sawyer or Jordan on any of these other teams to stop him.

Yeah, I didn’t pay close enough attention, and didn’t realize there were old clips in there.
