Honestly I think forums are a thing of the past with all the more current platforms we have now to communicate. For instance I know where everyone is I talk to here on Twitter, and often discuss the performances from The Voice in those group chats.

 

The only reason I stuck around here was for the Idol Games section, but with all its memories and data inaccessible, I wouldn't want to start all over. So I probably wouldn't rejoin a new IDF, but I'll definitely cherish the memories here. It's been a ride.

Well Blake only has 2 guys and Ricky d seems to have more momentum

General consensus is that his KO made the momentum stop and go the other way (I actually thought it was his best tho)

So really Kelly's team has been trash for you this whole season?

I mean I wouldn’t call it trash but relatively weak. I’m sure most of IDF would agree

Pains me to say this, but with the demo and history, I could see the Hoot winning this. He'll keep doing his operatic Americana/country style shtick, the grandmas and grandpas will love it, plus TPTB will pimp the sob story to death, and Minivan will tear up every week.

 

Also, because of his style and bc I don't think he'll get superchallenging songs, I suspect he'll be one of the few who won't bomb without autotune.

I’d enjoy a hoot win if he keeps doing well but honestly people always say this about every country guy every season and it’s rarely true. Also being on Kelly’s team as opposed to Blake’s put him at a disadvantage too. I think he’d have the same fate as Kaleb Lee.

As for why Gwen's team is underrated, maybe bc many people think she'll have problems getting the votes bc other coaches are more popular with the casual voters?

It could be just based off her track record on previous seasons. This season her team is pretty good so maybe her luck will turn?

I thought her blind was horrible. A pitchy mess.

But I have to say she surprised me in the KO's with a nice performance of a tough song. I mean it easy covering Demi.

I don’t think it is easy covering Demi. Also yeah Damali is technically skilled but she’s essentially the female version of Boyle

Actually I started to think that he is Blake's main guy when Blake gave him a song that benefited him more than his opponent (Marina) in the battle round. Cali, Kat, and Braddy all got country songs and they went against country singers, which automatically put them in disadvantage.

I think Kat is his main girl...he doesn’t seem too attached to the other 4...maybe gracee cause she’s the only other country artist left. Anyways Blake is unpredictable so even if his main guy is Ricky it’s not guarantee he’ll save him if needed. Even gracee isn’t guaranteed to be saved if needed (ex. when he saved Tsoul)
