Ok, my comments on a couple of things: 1. I will certainly vote in the Billboard poll and thanks for that info. 2, One can ALWAYS rely on Edge 3. You know, regardless of whether before or after the IDF transition, (combined) the size of our Danielle thread, the amount of activity and the continued longevity has been & is extraordinary. I'll go out on a limb & suggest it's of a magnitude unlike any other IDF thread. That's a hell of a thing, really, it is Think about it... we are right around having been around for 8 whole years, now Hat's off to you, especially, 'S1', for all the time & passion you have hung in there & devote to this. There is a part of me that wants Danielle to appreciate all we've given over the many years & have the interest to keep at it... maybe, she does, more than we know

Welcome David It is fun in a very special way for some of us who have been with Danielle since day 1 to look at then, now & the journey in between. I often enjoy just casually browsing through my own collection for this same reason. I also often forget/don't realise how long it has actually been... it IS a long time some of us have been together supporting Danielle. And, yes, in spite of the smashing job 'S1' did retrieving material, it sure is sad the history we lost; again, an especially particular view & feeling for us following & contributing from the onset. But, we will always have our memories & things we saved & collected along the way... things we can cherish & share forever.

In regard to July: HOLY CR@P this sonically & vocally absolutely superb. The sound Chevel gave to this lovely melody is a divine delivery, a fine definition of BEST. So warm, full, rich & smooth, to listen & hear her; it is a pleasant & pleasing treasure

It is fun to see everything regarding the (new) EP and much commenting about it... Having had it & been listening to it, playing it myself for so long and for most others they are just arriving to the party now. Maybe nobody will see why I have a wee chuckle over it. I've known them as great songs (& who wrote them) for a long time, at least it feels like it has been. It's exciting having it officially released now & seeing other people respond to it & enjoy it. Chevel will do well from it, too. It will be very well received.

I'm playing catch-up. Having just moved didn't really have computer or TV for a short while. Anyway, there was one who I liked & impressed me and was Kenzie. Oh & Pete was ok, too. I didn't care much for the rest of this 1st night. Ain't subjectivity great, eh

I sure agree about the audience... I've always felt it really tacky congratulating someone with applause for hitting a high note. I know it's always well-intended, but... "What? did you think I wouldn't hit it, you sound surprised". Obviously, I don't know how word this thought well, either.
