  1. Sirfetch'd As far as fighting type Pokemon go, Sirfetch'd is a pretty good addition! I'm glad that they finally did something to help out Farfetch'd! Sirfetch'd evolves when Farfetch'd lands at least 3 critical hits in one battle. Sirfetch'd has great attack and pretty good defenses, but is somewhat mediocre otherwise stat-wise. They have access to a pretty good variety of moves, learning fighting, flying, dark, grass, and bug attacks through level up. They're based on Pekin ducks and the motif of SWSH, a knight with a sword and shield. There's also possible inspiration from Sir Lancelot, from the Knights of the Round Table as he was known as the "White Knight". Sorry to any fans who wanted Sirfetch'd to last longer, but this placement is still pretty commendable so congrats on making it this far! Saving Gogoat.
  2. I'll claim Lauren Turner and Naima
  3. Also, in case Victoria or Bk feel indecisive about the remaining 4, I'll make extra deals in exchange for Larvesta cockroaching through another round.
  4. Scorbunny Sorry to any fans, but Scorbunny was the only Pokemon I was even considering from the six remaining. Scorbunny's admittedly grown on me some since SWSH first came out, but it's still my least favorite of the starters. Scorbunny is a fire type (I believe it stays fire the whole way through even though it's pretty clearly coded as the 12th fire/fighting starter lol). Scorbunny's got pretty great attack and speed stats for a base evolution, and everything else is okay for its stage as well. Alongside the Buneary line, it shares the title of "Rabbit Pokemon". Scorbunny's name comes from scorch, score, and bunny, while its Japanese name, Hibanny, comes from hi (fire), hibana (spark), and bunny. Saving Gogoat
  5. Ugh, Larvesta, Gogoat, and Rowlet all vulnerable (Alolan Vulpix and Xerneas are pretty great too). Save Gogoat Cut Scorbunny
  6. Tyranitar I really want that rock Pokemon title lol. That is my primary reason for cutting Tyranitar. Tyranitar is no doubt a really cool looking Pokemon, but I don't have much attachment to it. That's largely probably due to the rarity of its evolution line. Admittedly, I'd love to get the opportunity to use them in game because Tyranitar is like godzilla/dinosaur mix, and dinosaurs are my other love outside of bugs (rip to all the fossils btw). Tyranitar is a pseudo legendary rock and dark type Pokemon that evolves from Pupitar at level 55. Tyranitar's only stat that isn't great is its speed, which is still pretty okay. Tyranitar's got a variety of useful attacks, including the elemental fang attacks, as well as other ground, rock, and dark type attacks. Anyways, Tyranitar is out for now, but just to keep myself accountable, it'll probably be back after I win the rock title lol. Saving Alolan Marowak
  7. As much as I want the rock Pokemon title, I'd be willing to negotiate!
  8. Lugia I think I prefer Ho-Oh, but Lugia is pretty great! They're the mascot of Pokemon Silver and Soulsilver and are psychic and flying type. I always think that Lugia is part water due to its association with water (this gif, it being found in the whirl islands, etc.), but Psychic works as well. Lugia has had multiple roles in the anime, each time a different individual, I think? There's the guardian Lugia in the second anime movie, and then a mother/child duo, which I guess proves that not all legends are singular deities. Lugia has great defense (both), speed, and HP, while still having good attack stats as well! Lugia was apparently created specifically for the second movie, with their creator, Takeshi Shudo, being surprised to see them reappear in the games. Anyways, I quite like Lugia, but this stage of the game requires that even great Pokemon be cut so sorry to Lugia and fans! Saving Scyther
  9. Galarian Rapidash I legit have no clue why my reading skills are as awful as they are lol. Galarian Rapidash is an icon. The original Rapidash is already pretty great imo, and this regional variant only makes them better. They are a dual psychic and fairy type. While Galarian Rapidash changes types from its Kantonian relative, its stats remain entirely unchanged. Another thing that both Rapidashes have going for them are pretty stellar shinies. Kanto's Rapidash gets grey flames (Ponyta's blue flames are better, but the grey is still nice), and Galar's Rapidash swaps its purple mane/tail for a blonde color that complements the teal imo. This variant of Rapidash clearly takes the unicorn inspiration to the next level. Rapidash's name is pretty easy to decode as a combination of rapid and dash, while it's original Japanese name is literally Gallop. One more name that I just noticed is the Cantonese/Mandarin Chinese names, Lihtihmmah/Lieyanma, both of which translate to "horse of roaring flames". I'm pretty psyched that Galarian Rapidash was able to last this long. And they still have Galarian Ponyta representing the line. Saving Snom
  10. Okay, it's Gay Rapidash that I'm cutting. I completely disregarded them still being available, but I decided I want Kyogre to have the chance to last longer.
  11. Oh shoot I'm dumb! I completely misread who's still available.
