  1. Not a fan of any of these people, but I would have had Baga slightly higher because she was entertaining instead of painful to watch. I did like Sharon during S4 but yeah, she’s cancelled.
  2. Maybe I should make a ranking thread to counteract all my husband’s questionable opinions
  3. Lol I literally read them out to him. This is what he gets for not listening to his husband
  4. Time to clear out some fodder: Amy O’Hara (Guatemala, 11th) Christine Shields Markoski (South Pacific, 13th) Kelly Czarnecki (Gabon, 13th) Laura Boneham (BvW, 12th) Lindsey Richter (Africa, 11th) Michelle Yi (Fiji, 10th) Natalie Cole (DvG, 15th) Osten Taylor (Pearl Islands, 11th) Ramona Gray (Borneo, 13th) Randy Bailey (Gabon, 8th/HvV, 18th) Sherea Lloyd (China, 11th) Stacey Powell (South Pacific, 16th) Tyrone Davis (Nicaragua, 16th) Wendy Diaz (EoE, 15th)
  5. so far: Jena Irene Carrie Underwood Adam Lambert Still waiting on picks from @Elliott @Zoey @*Chris and @1234567890
  6. Stephanie Johnson (Ghost Island) Stephanie came in 16th on Ghost Island so it’s a miracle she’s still here, but I guess she was one of the few people IDF liked that season. She had the unfortunate luck of being on the Malolo tribe, who lost many immunity challenges. During the first two weeks we saw her attempt to befriend Stephanie Gonzalez and Jacob Derwin before their boots then, after the tribe swap, she and the other Malolos were subject to the whim of the Navitis, lead by Bradley. After Brendan Shapiro was sent home, Stephanie, Michael, Jenna did their best to plead their cases to the majority alliance, but in the end, Michael and Jenna sided with Naviti and voted her out to save their asses. I did think that her and some other pre-merge boots were interesting personalities that season but this is more than enough of a high placement for her as a 16th place boot on a terrible season. Save: Bradley K.
  7. I agree with the sentiment that, as a whole, the season wasn’t stellar but Juju and Shea saved it for me. I tuned in every week to see what they would do, which is a testament to how good they are and I think the lack of a truly terrible result (e.g. Manila, Shangela) made it better so if this format is what it takes to achieve that, then so be it.
  8. ALSO CAN WE TALK ABOUT JUJU’S RUNWAY???
  9. So happy for Shea! Juju did me so proud too. I love her forever and ever
  10. Chris’s end game was also stellar. He took a huge (no pun intended) risk to go to fire against Devins knowing that if he pulled it off, he would win. It was thrilling to watch, even if EoE, as a concept, is bogus.
  11. Lol basically you’re either giving someone 1 chance to get cut or 1 chance to get saved, rather than 4 chances. It’s a blessing and a curse.
  12. It basically means they will be forced to compete in the final round which has it pros (not cut before then) and it’s cons (also not advanced to the Top 24).
  13. Kim Powers (Survivor Africa) Kim placed 6th on Survivor’s third season, Africa. Some people definitely love her but I never really felt much for her that season. She was part of the Samburu tribe and part of the younger alliance in the tribe along with Brandon Quinton and Lindsey Ritcher. Silas Gather later betrayed the older alliance and joined them, giving them even numbers when they went to tribal the third week and causing a tie vote between Carl and Lindsey, where Carl lost the tiebreaker. The next week, they went to tribal again and the four of them stayed strong and voted out Linda. Before the next immunity, there was a tribe swap and Silas, Frank and Teresa joined Boran while Lindsey, Brandon and Kim gained Kelly, Lex and Tom on Samburu. They ended up winning and Boran voted out Silas. The next week, Samburu lost and the ex-Boran members used Lindsey’s past votes to their advantage to break the tie in her favour and send her home. Kim was then left with only Brandon, but when the tribes merged in Moto Maji at Day 20 it became clear that he wasn’t on her side. Kim managed to stay afloat by sticking with the majority and voting out Clarence, since he was a physical threat. The next week, Brandon’s alliegances became clear and he betrayed his fellow Samburu’s and helped the Boran’s vote out Kelly. It backfired however, because he was then seen as untrustworthy voted out the next week. The following week, Frank was voted out for vocalized his political views. Theresa and Kim were then the only two Samburu’s remaining and despite their best efforts, the Boran’s stayed strong and Kim out. In the end, she voted for Kim to win but, as we know, Ethan triumphed instead. All in all, Kim had an interesting run as an underdog but she didn’t leave much of an impression on me so I’m happy to cut her here. Save: Mike Holloway
  14. I just explained this to him so I'll give everyone the same information. Basically, pick someone you wouldn't want to automatically advance to the Top 24 or someone you wouldn't want to automatically get cut. For example, if you wanted to advance one of your personal favourites, but didn't want someone to cut Kelly Clarkson, you might pick her. Or, alternatively, if you wanted Kelly to be forced to compete in the final round of this cycle, rather than automatically advance to the Top 24, you might pick her.
  15. American Idol Rankdown 2.0 Cycle 11 - The Final Cuts Congratulations are in order for our Top 37! That being said, only 24 of them will make it to the final vote, which means we still need to cut 13 of them. How, you ask? Well... as the judges, you each have several powers this cycle, but you won't know what they are until I post about them: For Round 1, each of you will pick 1 of the remaining 37 contestants. This contestant will be forced to compete in the fifth part of this round. This power can be used in two ways: 1. You may pick someone that you don't want someone to cut in Rounds 2, 3 or 4 or 2. You may pick someone that you don't want someone to advance to the Top 24 in Rounds 2, 3 or 4 Choose wisely how you want to use this power. Once everyone has chosen which contestant they want to have compete in Round 5, I will post Round 2. @1234567890 @Alex95 @*Chris @Elliott @NGM @Solaris @Zoey
