NASHVILE, TN  – The Morning Hangover, a multi-media Country Music news and entertainment platform, SOLD OUT the House of Blues Las Vegas last night for its first-ever “Hangover Fest”. Benefitting the Academy of Country Music’s philanthropic arm – ACM Lifting Lives – the event featured 17 performances including Dustin Lynch, HARDY, Jordan Davis, Scotty McCreery, 2022 ACM New Female Artist of the Year Lainey Wilson, Drew Baldridge, Adam Doleac, Morgan Evans, Caitlyn Smith, Tenille Townes, Lacy Kaye Booth, Hannah Ellis, Jordan Fletcher, BRELAND, Kat & Alex, Conner Smith, and comedian Dusty Slay.Molson Coors Board Chairman, Pete Coors, presented a check for $50,000 to ACM Lifting Lives on behalf of presenting sponsor Coors Light.

 

Multi-platinum global entertainer Chris Young made a surprise appearance and performance before adding a personal donation of $7,000 in celebration of 7 nominations for tonight’s ACM award show, bringing the total monies raised to $57,000 for ACM Lifting Lives.

 

“The live music experience is the heart-beat of The Morning Hangover,” said TMH Founder and Publisher Kurt Bardella. “I started The Morning Hangover so that artists I believed in like the ones we had on our stage last night could have a bigger platform to share their songs, stories, and connect directly with the fanbase. The Morning Hangover is about discovery and elevating the new and diverse voices of country music. I am so grateful to everyone who took part of #HangoverFest22 and helped make it such a huge success.”

 

“We are grateful to be able to get everyone together again for a great night of music in Las Vegas,” said ACM Lifting Lives Executive Director Lyndsay Cruz. “Thanks to the generous donations from Coors Light and Chris Young we can further the mission of ACM Lifting Lives.”

 

The Morning Hangover’s “Hangover Fest” digital initiative will follow headliners Davis, HARDY, Lynch, McCreery, Slay, Wilson, and others while on tour this summer by highlighting content from the road. Additional Hangover Fest events will be announced soon. The Morning Hangover delivers daily news & entertainment to Country fans all around the world, and highlights artists through initiatives like Women Crush Wednesday, Tailgate Watch, New Music Friday, and DISCOVER.

I seem to remember from ages ago, a second one was formed because the 1st one was getting too far away from traditional.  Funny!  (Or something like that)
