  1. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES IAN27TAY - *stands and claps* Wow Alisan, you are back!! Better and more incredible, you know what? I remember those times that I said you perform too boring, but wait, I take that back, 'cause you showed to us that you can really perform well. Now your song choice is actually great, and it's actually a hard song to sing because it's so high, but it was just a piece of cake when you performed it. I think you will be saved after that performance. SCORE: 2.9/5 QueenMae - Alisan welcome back! I did love how you were the wildcard pick if it wasn't my girl, I already said that, I do believe you were eliminated too early. But now onto this. Class, elegance, grace, passion, and power. A few words I can use to describe this vocal, because Alisan you know what to do already, its just the fact that which songs you do it with and how you pick your placements. Alisan it was amazing and really a cry for yourself, portraying the world your hardships and how you never gave up. Good job Alisan, and I wish you best of luck because you got it sis! SCORE: 4.7/5 americanvoice - *standing ovation* First and foremost, that was like a coronation moment or something, from your voice to the grand set up of the stage, everything! This is how you comeback Alisan! I just love how you did well with both the high and low notes, it has so much control with it. I may be sad that my wildcard did not won it, but I am happy that you were the one who got it! Overs just became even stronger with you in it. You're starting to grow on me Alisan, keep up the good work. SCORE: 3.5/5 A-Kid - *standing ovation* Well that is how you bounce back Alisan! First of all, I super love the staging, it was just so grandiose and classy. I might have been hard on you on the past, but that is slowly changing. I love your technical show-off tonight, it was vocally almost flawless. This is the type of song that should not be changed or something, I'm glad you did it as it is, only few can pull this off, and you did it! I do think that you can do more though as you've already got a massive range and experience. SCORE: 2.8/5 jarmon - *standing ovation and claps proud* ALISAN!!! Firstly, I am so GLAD you were selected as the wildcard as I felt you were eliminated way too soon! So I'm super glad to have you back and grace the stage again and deliver some top notch vocals. This was just a masterclass performance that was executed with such skill and class and I am so impressed by you tonight.
  2. Seventh performance for tonight is our wildcard finalist from The Over 25's category. She was eliminated right on the very 1st week of the Live Playoffs, and was chosen by her mentor as the wildcard finalist for her category. She sang an original song of hers during the Wildcard Show, and impressed both the viewers and mentors a lot, resulting in her receiving the highest votes among the 5 wildcard finalists. Tonight, she will try to prove that she deserves the wildcard spot as she took on a Barbra Streisand massive song. 7. Alisan Porter - Song: Somewhere (Barbra Streisand)
  3. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES IAN27TAY - *stands and claps* Sheldon, my darling! Of course you never failed to impress us. You picked yet another great song choice, the way you started your song is just amazing, I got goosebumps. Okay, I have no more words to describe you, I just wanna say thank you for this lovely performance and I hope to see more. SCORE: 3.2/5 QueenMae - Sheldon I gave you a compliment earlier on how you were a perfect mix of a musical broadway and star vocalist, its a huge compliment because you know all sides to how to portray music and what you want to do for yourself. To this vocal, it was powerful, it was near-flawless in the technical department. I just love to hear you and how you change songs to something new, like it was released as of the moment you sing it! You are truly gifted, good luck Sheldon, I truly wish the best for you! SCORE: 4.4/5 americanvoice - *standing ovation* Oh my lord, Sheldon you kept on delivering consistently good performances! The best thing about your tone is that deep intense quality in it, I don't know if it's just me but you always have that intensity in your voice that always excites me in your performances, you rarely underwhelm me with your performances. I also love that even if your voice quality is really deep, you can still go up there with your voice with so much control. You made a statement tonight that you're one to look out for. SCORE: 4.0/5 jarmon - *standing ovation dances and sings along and claps* SHELDON!!! You really took a pop song and made it even better!! Your voice is one of the very few that I feel suits these pop songs and you just have a natural talent with your voice because this was a PERFORMANCE! This had so much dynamics to it and I am so proud of you! You really keep blessing us with your vocals and this was just fantastic to watch! Brilliant! SCORE: 4.5/5 A-Kid - *standing ovation* You're like the male diva on this competition, and I am freakin' lovin' it! I love how you kept on making us interested and invested in your performance. That crescendo, ooh boy, you betta sing. You just let your vocals shine tonight, I love how deep yet rangey your voice is, you are a special one Sheldon, I really love your growth throughout the show.
  4. Next performance for tonight is an artist from The Boys category. He sang a Celine Dion classic last week and impressed both the mentors and viewers once again, redeeming him saved again after receiving one of the highest votes on his category that week. Tonight, he will sing a hit song sung by one of the pop divas of this generation, Katy Perry. 6. Sheldon Riley - Song: Rise (Katy Perry)
  5. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES IAN27TAY - *stands and claps* Ali wow, of course another amazing performance, you always choose the right song choice that fits your voice. But, I think some parts are a little bit shouty, but you can really work with that. You know what you are? A finalist material, I just love that you always pick the right song choice and perform it very well. Overall, I think you did enough to escape the bottom 2. SCORE: 3.2/5 QueenMae - Ali you just come out and give flawless performance after flawless performance. At the same time you give off a raw vocal that I can't explain and really showcases you as an artist. Dear you are ready to sell stadium-sized concerts. Ali this is a popular song choice, but you gave a new form to it and just gave us everything a musical performance should give. Ali I believe you are one to watch out for, I can't deny that, you are amazing no matter which one is mentoring you, we all agree you are a master-class vocalist. Good luck Ali, and I'm hoping we get to hear more weather on this show or outside on tour! SCORE: 4.9/5 americanvoice - *standing ovation* Oh Ali darling you betta sing girl! Although I would have honestly see you slay more on momma Whitney's version of this song, I think this is pretty much a stunning performance still. I just love your tone so much, it have so much soul and clarity with it. I also love the fact that you stepped out of your comfort zone tonight and did Dolly's version, it is so refreshing to hear you sing a country-ish version of a song! You really pulled it off tonight besides of some pitch notes issues. SCORE: 3.8/5 A-Kid - *standing ovation* I love that performance, Ali! Well what to expect from ya? A good performances like this, you've been a real consistent artist, probably one of the most consistent on this show. I love how you turned the tables and sang Dolly's version of that song, I thought you'll sing Whitney's, but I love artists stepping outside of the box! That really worked well on you. I thought though that the high parts weren't technically perfect, and it was a bit rush, I would've loved to feel more the crescendo of the song. But I really love you Ali! SCORE: 3.2/5 jarmon - *standing ovation and claps like a proud mama* THAT'S HOW YOU SING, PERIODT!!! You have immense talent Ali and you sing so effortlessly and beautifully and it's always a joy to watch! You always bring a smile to my face and your voice is just timeless, one of my favorites in the competition because you just keep DELIVERING FLAWLESS VOCALS. SLAY QUEEN SLAY!
  6. Fifth performance for tonight is an artist from The Over 25's category. She performed a Mariah Carey classic last week and impressed the mentors once again, even the viewers were impressed, resulting in her being one of the highest vote-getters in her category that week, deeming her save that week. Tonight, she will sing another diva song, this time by Dolly Parton, a country diva. 5. Ali Caldwell - Song: I Will Always Love You (Dolly Parton)
  7. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES IAN27TAY - *stands amd claps* Jamie!! Whoo this is amazing! I remember those times here in which you're not really famous in IDF, but you did not make that an excuse to show us your talent. I just love your voice and everything in you is perfect, the song choice is actually great, and wow a male singing Anyone, it's rare! There is one more thing that made me want to listen to your voice more, and that is on how you blend those low and high notes in one performance. Overall, this is one of my favorite performance of yours. SCORE: 3.5/5 QueenMae - Darn son, why are you such an emotional performer and amazing vocalist?! Like Jamie you have grown to be one of my personal favorites, and I want an album from you now lol. I will say the higher register in you is just so powerful and flawless! Like the connection you give is outstanding, I never want you to stop singing. Jamie you are a threat for sure, and I just want to say, thank you for sharing your beautiful voice, good luck in the votes Jamie! SCORE: 4.6/5 A-Kid - *standing ovation* Oh wow Jamie. I felt like I lost you on your performance last time, honestly, I did not felt connection. But tonight, I really love your emotions while singing, I also love how you tend to impress us with those notes, you've really got a massive range. Anyone is such a hard song, it was either a hit or miss for me, and you did hit it on the head for me. I really love this performance even if some notes weren't perfect. I am glad that after some underwhelming and disappointing start tonight, you still managed to shine. SCORE: 3.0/5 jarmon - *cries and claps* What an emotional rollercoaster you took me on! This was such a stunning side to see of you Jamie! I love when you tap into your emotional side and do these songs that require a lot of emotion as it shows off a new dimension to your voice. I have to say you have been the biggest surprise for me in this competition and I am loving your performances so far, keep it up! SCORE: 3.5/5 americanvoice - *standing ovation* I don't intend to do a favoritism here but finally! A good performance tonight, I really love that song for you Jamie. This is another difficult to sing, you can either make it or break it, the chorus especially, but you nailed it! I love your vocal transitions so much. I also love that connection I felt from you tonight, this song requires so much emotional commitment, and you did it. I could not be any more prouder for you Jamie.
  8. Next to perform for tonight is a finalist from The Underdogs category. He sang a movie song sung by Lady Gaga last week and had received praises from the mentors, turns out the viewers were as much impressed by him as he had one of the highest votes that week in his category, automatically moving forward on this competition. Tonight he will sing a Demi Lovato song and will try to impress again. 4. Jamie Miller - Song: Anyone (Demi Lovato)
  9. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES QueenMae - Girls I think you really showcased your emotional vocal in the beginning, I do think you lost me in the middle when you were showcasing your energy more though. I would love it if it was just you and your gorgeous vocals, because that's really all you need. But besides that, it was pretty great, we'll see how the audience votes, good luck! SCORE: 2.9/5 americanvoice - Girls, you know that I really liked you from the start right? That's why I had so much expectations for you tonight, while I think the start was really gorgeous and your voices were outstanding as usual, I think this is kind of messy. This song is a difficult one to sing, only few can pull this off, and I think you unfortunately did not tonight. Something was wrong about your harmonies, and I really can't connect with your performance. It is so sad because so far tonight, the first performances are kind of underwhelming. I believe in you though, so I hope you still advance! SCORE: 2.0/5 A-Kid - Girls, I am really happy when I saw your song tonight, I really thought you can do anything, and you showing your modern side tonight will actually help. But, even if your harmonies were actually gorgeous at the start, I think the latter parts were pitchy at many points, I also don't think this performance showcased what you really can do as a group vocally. This is a really hard to sing, like it is hard to nail, I do appreciate that you took a risk though. I really want you to bring back the girls that I really liked from the audition, I know you can do it. SCORE: 1.8/5 jarmon - Girls, I love you and I hate to put people in a box BUT with your voices especially, I think it's best to stick to the ballads because that's where your voices excel in and blend together perfectly. This pop songs do your voices a disservice in my opinion. Like I just can't connect with your performances at all when you do these pop songs as opposed to your ballads. SCORE: 2.5/5 IAN27TAY - *stands and claps* WHOOO that's my girls!! You know what ladies, what I love in your performance is that all of you are unique and different from each other. The way you start the song with those harmonies are actually enough for you to be safe in the next round. I don't know what will the other mentors think about your performance, but for me it was perfect, you girls are really improving and your diction is on point! Thank you for this! And goodluck.
  10. Next performance for tonight is from a finalist in The Groups category. They performed a ballad last week with an R Kelly classic, where they received mixed feedbacks from the mentors and viewers, that resulted them in having one of the lowest votes that week and landed in the Bottom 2 with Stereo Kicks. They however outlasted Stereo Kicks on the performances, and got the majority of the mentors' vote for them to move forward on this competition. Tonight, they will sing an Ariana Grande song, and will show their versatility once again. 3. 4th Impact - Song: No Tears Left to Cry (Ariana Grande)
  11. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES IAN27TAY - *stands and claps* GIRLLLLLL! You really slayed the song choice, I really love Adele's songs, but you made me want to love it more. What I love about your performance is how you hit those soft high noyes. However, your voice did not suited well to the song, I also notice something, I think there is some Koryn flavor missing, and I think that's your grit on how you deliver each line, but trying new is great right? So let's see. SCORE: 2.5/5 americanvoice - Well talk about a surprise, I'm happy that you stepped out of your comfort zone tonight Koryn, I really appreciate that. I love how you showed your tender tone tonight, the notes were as flawless as it can be. I love how your voice jived well with the instruments. But, this song requires so much intensity, or it'll lose its essence as a "Bond" song, it is so underwhelming for me. The message of the song is somehow kind of a destruction or something, and you singing that song in a tender way does not make sense at some point? I am missing Koryn on this performance, I do appreciate your effort to challenge yourself though. SCORE: 2.3/5 A-Kid - Okay Koryn, really this is a nice attempt to do something different, and picking an Adele song would've been a massive rise for you. But, I think it was a rather underwhelming performance? You and honestly Aydan had something missing for me, but I thought you had a worse song to showcase your voice than Aydan. Like what americanvoice said, Skyfall is such an intense song, it requires so much passion, although you did try to do different with it, I felt like it was somehow a safe arrangement for tonight? I know you can do more than that, I really thought you will do the massive stage performance like performance of this. This would have been the perfect song for you if you did a much risky arrangement, but this was the wrong song for you, for you to show something different. I however somehow expect you to bounce back from this, you are such a fighter. SCORE: 1.9/5 jarmon - Koryn, imma have to be honest with you and say I don't feel the song choice suited your soulful and gospel voice. This felt way out of your comfort zone but that said, you had some really gorgeous moments that I quite enjoyed but I just felt the performance as a whole was a little underwhelming for me tbh. SCORE: 2.5/5 QueenMae - Koryn I love how this vocal opened up a new side to you, this has such drama and just amazing build-ups in the right moments! I just love how you are a real artist as well, you know how to portray a message, and I just hope that we can continue to work together! This was a slayage honey, I wish the very best for you Koryn and I love you!
  12. Next to perform for tonight is an artist from The Girls category. She sang a song that is right up her alley, a gospel song sung by Tasha Cobbs, she was praised by the mentors again for her powerful performance, but the viewers were impressed more on the others, resulting in her having one of the lowest votes and landing in the Sing-Offs with Addison Agen, where she had beaten the latter and advanced on this competition. Tonight, she will go big as she sing a movie theme song sung by one of the divas, Adele. 2. Koryn Hawthorne - Song: Skyfall (Adele)
  13. MENTORS COMMENTARIES AND SCORES IAN27TAY - *stands and claps* Okay Aydan, this performamce is actually great, I have already listenes to Never Enough many times, but the way you sang it makes me wanna hear it more. I just love that your voice is not that shout-y, just the perfect voice for a male to showcase his talent. But, I think I may have problems on some dictions, but it will do. Overall, you did an amazing job opening a show! SCORE: 3.2/5 QueenMae - You know Aydan I just love how this side of you has opened up, because this is your true artistic self, you are a passionate and compelling artist with so much depth. Your vocals are also crazy as well! This song and placements in each verse was perfection, I could tell you were emotional as well, its all right honey! That's showing that you are a true person, a real human, and outstanding vocalist! Congrats Aydan and I wish only the best for you! SCORE: 4.3/5 americanvoice - Bold song choice for you Aydan! I think it was smart of you to step it up tonight, singing this song is really a challenge, but it felt effortless with you. However, I've heard a lot of versions of this song already, I can't see anything special on your performance honestly, I guess I was expecting more. I love your musicianship though, I love it everytime you play on the piano. I am also some connection in your performance. SCORE: 2.5/5 jarmon - *standing ovation and claps* Well this is so refreshing to hear a male take on this iconic song! I feel you truly delivered vocals in this performance and I might finally be taking you seriously as a serious contender who has the vocals and stage presence to back him up. This was such a beautiful showcase of your voice and you are really becoming a front runner after this performance. SCORE: 4.0/5 A-Kid - *standing ovation* What a good performance Aydan! So refreshing to hear a guy singing this song, and look at you! Playing piano again while singing, what a talented young lad you are. The thing that I admire about your voice is the modernity in it, it sounds like the voice that you would want to hear again over and over again this days. I might have asked for more passion on that performance, but the whole performance itself was enough. I am really proud to be your mentor!
  14. Opening out the night is an artist that is one of the finalists in The Boys category. He sang a Five for Fighting song last week, and received praises from the mentors, however that did not translated into the viewers' votes as he was placed in the Bottom 2 with Noah Mac and they competed in the Sing-Offs for their category. He ultimately won the Sing-Offs and moved forward. Tonight, he will sing a popular hit by Loren Allred that was sung in The Greatest Showman movie. 1. Aydan Calafiore - Song: Never Enough (Loren Allred)
  15. The theme for the Live Shows Week 1 is none other than... All Final 16 artists will be performing some of the biggest hits from the old generation divas and the modern divas.
  16. Let us now welcome the Batch 2 of our Final 16 artists that'll be performing tonight and their lovely mentors! 4th Impact Koryn Hawthorne Jessica Sanchez Jamie Miller Aydan Calafiore Sheldon Riley Alisan Porter Ali Caldwell
  17. Hi and welcome back to The Voice: Idol Factor Part 1! Last night, you've witnessed as I reveal the results for the Batch 1 of our Final 16 artists that performed for the 1st night of the Live Shows Week 1. Angie Miller from The Over 25's category received the Soundcloud Bonus Multiplier after receiving the most "clicks" on the studio recordings posted the night before, this resulted in her being automatically saved from the night as she received one of the highest votes. Evvie McKinney and MaKenzie Thomas were the 2 artists that received the lowest votes and landed in the Bottom 2. They fought in the Sing-Off, but after the mentors' majority votes, Evvie McKinney was the first artist to leave the show. Tonight, we will witness yet another diva performances this time, from the Batch 2 of the Final 16 artists. Alisan Porter from The Over 25's category will finally make a comeback as a wildcard artist tonight. At the end of the night, one artist will again receive the Mentor's Immunity and will have himself/herself/theirselves perform again next week. Tomorrow night, 1 from the artists will receive the Soundcloud Bonus Multiplier, and 2 will land in the Sing-Offs, where 1 will be ELIMINATED.
  18. That would've been great but 4th Impact actually already sang it on the live rounds
  19. 20 MINUTES WARNING Tune in at 8 PM EST as the Batch 2 of the Final 16 artists finally perform on the Live Shows Week 1.
  20. They actually have sum fans here, sooo yeah they garnered enough votes for them to be safe . But the results were pretty shocking to me too
  21. She did not, maybe she got too emotional or something? I remember her back on Season 14 when she did not turned for Stephanie after singing Piece By Piece, she also got emotional but did not turn.
  22. I would love to sing lovely by billie eilish. I actually nearly auditioned way back on Season 12 with that song, but accidents happened, and yeah. I have never heard of someone on TVUS singing lovely, would love to see it in a battle though. If I would like to show off my vocals, my favorite song is Run by Snow Patrol but the Leona Lewis' version, been singing that for years lmao.
  23. Oh yeaaah, I misunderstood the text, I thought Davon hated a coach or smth
  24. Well John is like the one heck of a dumb coach, and he have a pretty strong team, maybe him, or Kelly (which usually favors potential)
