If that's the case, then it makes sense to have Alexis pick Carter, as they're both Latin Ballroom dancers. Maybe Keaton picked Anna because she got the farthest of the female Contemporary dancers.

I'm thrilled that Alexis made the Final 2, but I'm sad to see Essence go. Still, she went out a total class act and that's what's most important.

Same here, especially after seeing Essence & Keaton's Jazz routine. That routine was a tad underwhelming for me. It wasn't awful but was still worst of the night for me.

I really wish that Alexis & Kiki were on last. I think that they could have brought the house down with their routine! I think that Alexis did enough to make the finale, and I really want her to win!

Oh. I thought that it was a criticism earlier. I guess that I was mistaken. And I hated the Zombie hip-hop. Anyway, I think that Keaton and Audrey were very good in the Contemporary routine, but about as good as Essence and Robert.

Unfortunately, that's true. I definitely think this might put the nail in Essence's coffin, when compared to Alexis.

I loved the song for Alexis and Essence's Contemporary routine. I think that Alexis was better than Essence, but Essence still held her own for the most part.

Alexis and Keaton's Bollywood was one of the better Bollywood routines that have been performed on the show. I especially loved Alexis in the number.

Week 6: Alexis/Essence/Ralyn - Hip-Hop (Mel Charlot): 7.5. It was really enjoyable. Beau/Carter/Keaton - Broadway (Dominique Kelly): 6.5. I love the song but this was just a good routine. Beau/Carter/Ralyn - Contemporary (Chase Bowden): 6. Little surprise that this group was cut. Alexis/Essence/Keaton - Jazz (Jonathan Redavid): 8. Best group performance of the night. Carter - Solo (Jive): 7. Good routine but Alexis outshone him. Alexis- Solo (Latin): 8.5. She won the Battle of the Ballroom Dancers. Essence - Solo (Hip-Hop): 8. This solo got her in the Top 3. Ralyn - Solo (Contemporary): 7.5. Just not quite as good as Essence, sad to say. Beau - Solo (Jazz): 6. He's entertaining, but the others were more talented. Keaton - Solo (Contemporary): 7.5. Best of the guys, as he as been all season.

If Essence is the one who was eliminated, I'm not surprised. But I'm glad that she got to the semi-finals. I'm looking forward to Bollywood and especially looking forward to the Argentine Tango!

Week 5 Top 6 - Contemporary (Jaci Royal): 8. Carter/Bailey - Hip-Hop (Gabe de Guzman): 6. I took a full point off because of the ugly makeup. Alexis/Amy - Jazz (Ellenore Scott): 7.5. It would have been a little better with different costumes and lighting. Keaton/Ezra - Jive (Emma & Sasha): 7.5. One of the better routines. Essence/Koine - Contemporary (Jaci Royal): 8.5. My favorite All-Star made the routine this good. Beau/Lex - Contemporary (Talia Favia): 6. Lex outshone Beau in this routine, which wasn't a good sign. Ralyn/Comfort - Hip-Hop (Luther Brown): 6.5. Not bad but the costumes were quite distracting.

Here's my power rankings before the finale: 1. Keaton -- he's never been in danger, so I have to put him here. 2. Alexis -- she's still my favorite. 3. Essence -- I'm glad that she made it to the semifinals. And now for the ones who feel short: 1. Ralyn -- what went wrong? Essence improved at the right time. 2. Carter -- at least your parents must be proud of you. 3. Beau -- it was time for you to go.

Maybe so, but at least this final 3 is better than some other Final 3 contestants that I can think of. Ralyn would have been another worthy candidate for the Final 3, but Essence was in this season. Beau and Carter just weren't good enough.

Alexis, Essence and Keaton made the finale! Of the three who were eliminated, the only one I'm really sorry to see go is Ralyn. I'm also a little sorry to see Carter go. It was Beau's time to go.

I agree with you about Keaton being much better than Beau and I think that Keaton's moving on, but Beau is entertaining, so he could surprise us.

Yeah, Carter was also very good. Alexis was just better. Essence & Ralyn were both very good, and it's going to be close. I think that Essence might have squeaked this one out, but I'm not sure.

I think that Alexis won the battle against Carter.

The Jazz routine was so cool! I loved it!

That was a very demanding routine. I think that Carter and Ralyn were fine with it, but Beau wasn't quite as good.

Love the song for the guys' Broadway routine, mainly because I saw Carly Patterson perform a floor routine to it in the 2004 Olympics (and she won the All-Around gold medal with it). However, I think that I preferred the girls' routine more.

I enjoyed the routine, but I agree that the lighting wasn't great. But at least the TV viewers weren't voting, and it might have been better for the studio audience.

So for some reason, the jazz routines don't show the dancers as well to the studio audience as to the TV audience? Well, that might explain why Alexis wound up in danger again.

Well, at least now we know why there was no elimination. Glad that Alexis is safe. She needs to fake confidence till she makes it!
