you are entitled to your opinion and i respect it, but it's just coming across as bitter due to events surrounding your fave that have occured today. 

the women all have 106k+ followers on Instagram (with the exception of Julia) so clearly IDF is not delusional for enjoying them, since many others seem to as well!

the updated PETA statement that got added to the article is kinda sending me

but yeah i agree that as disturbing as it is, i do get the invasive species aspect.

great writeup! i do wonder if the competition would have looked different if themes didnt exist and he was allowed to do originals all season long.

oop i didnt think about it from that lens and that is probably true. i still think that it is an advantage that the females get to experiment with something in their comfort zone, whereas Adele is out of the guys comfort zoned.

something to consider for the long term is the fact that there is the Adele theme. again feel free to call me out on my delusions lol, but it feels strategically implemented as a way to give the female contestants more momentum. i'm sure Jack/Triston/Will will be able to put their own spins on her, but it is so obviously tailored towards all the remainining female comtestants (besides Emmy, who may go home tonight anyways). 

i also do predict there will be another theme announced tonight because no way we are only getting 7 performances lol. still manifesting that Adele is announced as the mentor as a surprise too!

this season is the most they have actively pushed for a female winner in the ABC era, and if any season deserves rigging allegations, it's this one lmao.

Will should be going home because he has been the safest and most predictable contestant this season, though that's not happening so I'd say Emmy realistically due to her inconsistencies and subpar vocals. 

feel free to call me delusional but i have a feeling the women's stats may be deflated because there are more of them competing against eachother + there is usually never this much female dominance. 

i do think this does provide some insight into what tonight's results could be, but i would not give it long term credibility since the women's votes will start to pile up on to one of them as more get eliminated.

either way this is pretty unprecedented so we won't know for sure until the season is over.

i vote Teenage Dirtbag for Kayko because at least he seemed self-aware of the cringe/camp value.

I honestly don't even really think Kala makes the finale even if Chance picks her over Ray

she definitely would have been eliminated at Top 8 lol.

i loved her and think she's robbed as well, but no where near as much to the level it's talked about on here

exactly. there is no untouchable contestant this season like Iam. if the women keep delivering moments, one of them can take home the crown. 

if Emmy isn't in Bottom 2 i think it could be Julia/McKenna and i'm not sure who they would save in that scenario. i think the judges like McKenna more but they might save Julia for the POC representation (similar to how they saved Laci because it would've been a 4M 1F ratio otherwise). 

also could see Jack slipping in the bottom though. we will see how he does on Facebook tonight.

when she advanced i let out SUCH a sigh of relief omg. so happy for her! 

tbh i also think Mia having a significantly lower follower count (on Instagram specifically) played a part in her elimination. she kinda had to rely heavily on the casual voters to carry her, so when she eventually had a bad performance, she didn't have that solid fanbase to back her up. 

very sad, but unfortunately true  

we are also now guaranteed a women majority in both Top 8 and Top 7
