I was just thinking it would be kinda weird to shortclip someone who made it to lives, especially since his audition wasn't terrible. Might mean something or not
They didn't know* who was making it to lives when they edited this episode
*semi-reasonable conspiracy theories aside

Gwen makes better pitches for Reba then she does for herself. But obviously he was going with his twin
-
This was good. This is a Teragin friendly episode though
-
And another one chair montage for team Reba. I beginning to think Reba just hit her button for everyone until her team was full tbh

Oh, no…they’re short clipping.
Based on what I heard, I think that was a good thing for him.
These coaches are button happy, and it got one chair

You're probably right. But I hear it on the country radio my dad listens to often so I just assumed it was country.
It's country, dude is also from Oklahoma. But the line between folk/Americana/Country is very blurry. And Zack has collabs with a lot of different artists, the Lumineers, War and Treaty, Kacey Musgraves etc

no way he picked niall over reba that's crazy!
You just need to realize that subconsciously ageism and misogyny play a role.
(this is not meant to attack Noah, it's a societal bias that men internalize, but male singers rarely pick female coaches over male coaches, in the same way that you don't see women coaches of mens sports teams)

Niall having a version of that song of his own probably sealed the deal.
-
This is a good song, the funny thing is that Zach Bryan isn't a strong vocalist (he's a great lyricist)

Mac was my favorite of the night so far

Gwen knew what she was doing not turning.

I loved the notes I just gravitate to more fuller voices with satisfying tonesYeah

Gwen gave the best pitch.
I agree though that whistle note and yodel are both tricks. Impressive vocal tricks, but not something you can do consistently

Finally listening to Cecchi's audition, the whistle notes are insane! but much like yodelling, a bit of a gimmick. Her voice actually sounds a little thin. I'm not totally surprised anymore she was eliminated. I can see Casi Joy comparisons

Carson is apparently at Metlife stadium, he posted to instagram from the broadcast booth, and said to tune in at the start, plus he tagged the voice...
oooh and some singer named Taylor Swift is there too, can't imagine why

The steals seem to have done very well on their new teams this season

The odd thing about the voice episode 5 cutdown episode listing is that it's listed as an original episode, and not a repeat. My guess is that's because it will include some additional couple clips or something

Oh hell no Lauren Duski will forever hold that title
Heck, I still prefer Grace West to Rudy. Then again I tend to prefer country/bluegrass/folk vs Western

Tanner isn't 14 (seriously the audience has generally drawn a distinction between 13-15yo teens, and ones who are over 18)
But just for the record, I think BIAS is more likely to make the final from team Gwen then Tanner

Season 9, where Braiden Sunshine defeated Lyndsey Elm. Also from team Gwen.
What is so annoying about Gwen is that she has a huge favoritism for cute teen boys and tends to advance them as high as possible, resulting in someone really good going home.
In this scenario, it's worse to see that Chechi didn't go farther than a karaoke country girl.
Yeah, here's the thing IDF hates to admit about that. Braiden was better. And she wasn't good when Gwen brought her back either as the coach comeback.
IDF does this every season: there's someone who has an insane blind audition, and then fails to match the performance again, but IDF thinks they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, so the actual performances don't matter, and they just hate on the coach. Cecchi didn't get saved or stolen, and she went when they were still available. She either flopped hard, or there was something else going on with her that nobody wanted to work with her going forward.
