I’ve been following Gigi Hess and Paris Simone on social media and I think none of them made it past battles. Gigi has been posting home (I think) and with her friends and Paris has been constantly posting covers. It may be that she already had the videos and has been uploading them while she is on the voice, however I don’t think that’s very likely.

Yes, Gigi would have to had lost her battle since she's been posting from home (although granted, if there's a mistake on the list of chair turners in the first place - Gigi's the most likely one since we only have one photo of her as proof).

I know Paris Simone has been posting from home so I'd assumed she was out, but I don't recall anything from her before the battles so she'll be one that's gonna have to wait until she shows up in a promo or doesn't reveal on reveal day.

I believe this puts Toneisha into the KO. That molding along the ceiling matches what I’ve seen in photos from others who are assumed to be still be in.

Good catch. I think that if Joei, Toneisha, Todd 1 & 2, and Jon were all able to be at Denny's on day 2 of battlesin the middle of the day - they all made it through battles on day 1.

If they'd been eliminated, I assume they'd be at an airport/plane the next day.

Plus, we can assume that Todd Tilghman won based on his stories, Jon's given some indication that he's not with his wife at the moment, and TMH & Joei haven't given any indication that they're anywhere yet either.

  3. Somebody messaged me with 2 photos from Joanna and Zan Fiskum's Instagrams - they both appeared to be backstage yesterday in their stories (same spot - the stories have expired since then but it's obviously the same spot. It seems like Zan Fiskum is definitely in and made it to knockouts.

Is it possible that the list could be updated with like the red and green colors like the past seasons? I feel like that way it was easier to keep track of the contestants lol

I'll be updating that this weekend.

Wednesday-Saturday are my busiest days for work, esp. Friday - but I'll double check everything and edit this weekend.

Micah Iverson also posted a story and his background looks like the hotel headboard so maybe he was actually trolling us 😁

Came here to mention that! Yes, Micah's in there.

Seems like we can confirm that Joanna, Micah I., and Todd T. all made it past battles.

With Joe being a former coach in Australia, Nick's in good hands. Plus, probably some sibling intuition working there.

Dua & Ella seem to be great choices and Bebe's got some experience as the comeback coach.

~also Kelly said in the video (3:20) that one of her pairings has a Dua Lipa song for their battle~

So is it possible that we get more knockout spoilers than battle spoilers for this season? I mean taking into account the fact that the battle spoilers in previous seasons have been way more than the ones that we got this season.

Hopefully. Sources in the past 2 seasons have been a lot more hesitant than in the past.

If I can get just one person from each taping this season, we'd be golden.

Knockouts were one day over two tapings for Season 14 and Season 15. Cross Battles replaced Knockouts for Season 16. Knockouts were spread out over 2 days with 3 tapings for Season 17. I don't know what the schedule was previous to Season 14 since I wasn't going to tapings back then, but to me the tapings being two tapings over one day is the normal scheduling.

    Ok, thanks for the info!

I forgot about the taping schedules from those days.

Jonas brothers and Blake both have shows on Saturday, and then Sunday is the grammy’s. Jonas brothers then have a show in Europe on weds. That might be the reason for the 1 day. I think they have done one day occasionally in the past. It’s 8 tapings per session, so long, but blinds have 10.

It's worth noting that the tapings are 9:45 and 3:15.

If I recall correctly, they used to start a little bit later in the morning? That could be another explanation.

  10. 56 minutes ago, TeamAudra said:

Do they usually tape all of the KOs in one day? I only see a morning and afternoon taping on the 27th. I could be wrong, but I thought they were usually spread over two days.

Usually it's 2 days (3 tapings), so that's why the scheduling has been looking a bit weird this season.

    Is this the same kid?

    Not impressed

Can't wait for him to lose his voice in the middle of the season

Yes, the source said that that looks like a younger version of him but couldn't find any other clips of him. They said he sounds more mature now and that he did well.

  12. 1 hour ago, rhapsody99 said:

Did one of your sources explicitly tell you there were 48 contestants for Battles this season or is this an assumption based on how many pairings there were during  taping #3?

The source said specifically that it was a top 48 but they didn’t specify exactly how they were aware of that

  13. 3 minutes ago, TeamAudra said:

I quickly looked at the stories of all of the contestants.

Amber Sweeney posted from NAMM. Do we think she’s still in? Also, Aryk Crowder (lives in LA) and JoJo Scott, but it doesn’t seem like they’re  still in.

No, Amber and Jojo were at NAMM performing on Tuesday/Wednesday and neither were in LA for the week prior. Aryk posted on his story that he was volunteering/attending at NAMM, so he was working and couldn't be in.

  14. 6 minutes ago, TeamAudra said:

Agreed. One photo indicating she’s still in LA, and another placing her in the hotel is pretty solid.

Yes, although I'm a bit surprised she was at NAMM today. Burbank to Anaheim isn't a "short" drive and I imagine that in the few days after battles, they give the contestants some freedom before the Knockouts begin, but she was definitely the only contestant that posted from NAMM today.

  15. So with one taping's spoilers out of the way, known post-blind teams:

    Kelly: (4/12)

    • Jules
    • Mandi Thomas
    • Sara Collins
    • Tayler Green

    Nick: (4/12)

    • Arei Moon
    • Jacob Miller
    • Kevin Farris
    • Samuel Wilco

    John: (2/12)

    • Cedrice Webber
    • Thunderstorm Artis

    Blake: (4/12)

    • Cam Spinks
    • Jamal Corrie
    • Kailey Abel
    • Levi Watkins

Unplaced, but confirmed via promo (1)

    • Samantha Howell (turned at least Nick, but not John)

Assumed chair turner - unplaced (Based on location, social media, etc.) (11)

    • Brandin Jay
    • Gigi Hess
    • Joanna Serenko
    • Joei Fulco
    • Jon Mullins
    • Micah Iverson
    • Michael Williams
    • Tate Brusa
    • Todd Michael Hall
    • Todd Tilghman
    • Toneisha Harris

It's still a top 48 this season, so we have 26/48, assuming that those assumed 11 are correct.

  16. I'll figure out the new formatting style because it doesn't let me do it how I used to for the OP lol

    Tayler Green https://www.instagram.com/taylergreen/ |  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCM4d8S2RD6OXfQD_7Wd4gwA

Levi Watkins https://www.instagram.com/jameskatkins05/ (private) | Youtube not found

Tayler is the green-haired girl in that Nick promo.

    And Levi... 14 years old.

  17. Here are the battle spoilers! This is taping 3. I'll add Tayler and Levi's information in a bit and modify Alexis Jules to just "Jules".

Note: By the third taping, Blake was the only coach with a steal left. This taping actually had 7 battles - apparently there was going to be a coach performance of "Jealous" at the last taping, so they probably shifted one battle up to this taping to accommodate.

    BATTLES SPOILERS

Winners bolded on left, steals/saves italicized.

    Taping 3:

    1. Team Legend: Thunderstorm Artis vs. Cedrice Webber - Stay (Rihanna) - CEDRICE STOLEN BY BLAKE

-Thunderstorm was a 4-chair turn and may have auditioned with Blackbird; Cedrice was the last blind audition of the season (therefore 1-chair). John called Cedrice a "goddess"

-Source said the battle had a strong emotional connection and it was very well done.

    2. Team Kelly: Mandi Thomas vs. Sara Collins - My Baby Loves Me (Martina McBride)

-Mandi was better; Blake said both were sharp - focusing more on Sara. Kelly said Sara had no vibrato because she runs out of air, while Mandi could do a variety of genres

    3. Team Kelly: Tayler Green vs. Jules - Water Under the Bridge (Adele)

-Tayler was good, but Nick commented that she needed to hold back a bit on some parts

-Blake said Jules' enunciation and the way she affected her voice made it hard to understand her

    4. Team Blake: Levi Watkins vs. Jamal Corrie - Counting Stars (OneRepublic)

-Levi is 14 and has a surprisingly big voice.

-Coaches kept praising Levi as "perfect" and said Jamal was "inconsistent." Source thought that vocally, they sounded great together and it was a fun/energetic battle.

    5. Team Nick: Arei Moon vs. Samuel Wilco - TBA

-Voices went well together and coaches seemed to agree that it was even, Nick made his choice on personal preference.

-Kelly was blocked in blinds from getting Arei.

    6. Team Blake: Cam Spinks vs. Kailey Abel - TBA

-The coaches thought Cam was vocally better, but Kailey had more energy

-Source enjoyed the battle and they actually preferred Kailey a little bit, but agreed that Cam hit some impressive notes throughout

    7. Team Nick: Jacob Miller vs. Kevin Farris - Lights Up (Harry Styles)

-Kevin was inconsistent vocally while Jacob was technically perfect, but had no real "inspiration" according to John

    Other:

-Apparently coaches can save a contestant even after they leave the stage? At least it was somehow mentioned

-Nick was the most enthusiastic coach according to the source; he took notes of every contestant in a notebook

-Jamal Corrie thanked "Bebe" in his goodbye speech. Bebe Rexha might be Blake's battle advisor.

  18. Love the new look! But is there a minimum system requirement or anything?

It's working fine on my Macbook but I spend most of my time on Idolforums on my Windows desktop instead and nothing idolforums is working.

(I say minimum because my Desktop is a dinosaur running on Windows 7 but on both the Macbook and desktop I'm using Chrome.)

Nevermind, it finally updated to me on the desktop. :)

  19. Jamal posted less than an hour ago to pray for him again. Looks like his battle's scheduled for the last taping.

Also, should we be considering 2 separate contestants posting from a Denny's at around the same time to be in? Because Joei Fulco and Jon Mullins both posted shots an hour ago from Denny's. It's just super convenient, especially when neither of them are the super active on Instagram type. :ph34rwave:

    Edit:

Toneisha Harris, Todd Michael Hall, and Todd Tilghman each posted something separate from Denny's too :ph34rwave: :ph34rwave: :ph34rwave:

    Edit to the Edit:

Ok so Todd Michael Hall's doesn't specifically say Denny's but it's posted at the same time as everyone else above did so I'm just assuming.

Also, seems pretty late in the day to be at Denny's 2 hours ago. That's more than a coincidence.

Just bumping this for that last half:

If the whole 5 people out for a late breakfast thing isn't a ruse, then we can count in:

    Joei Fulco

    Jon Mullins

    Toneisha Harris

    Todd Michael Hall

    Todd Tilghman

-They would've all had to have had their battles on day 1 if they could make it to Denny's in the middle of the second day of battles taping

-Not sure about Joei's age exactly, but at least the other 4 seem to be among the older (30s and up) crowd, so it's plausible they're all hanging out.
