True, but she’s not one of the “it girls.” I actually don’t dislike the it girls. McKenna has long been a favorite of mine, I had Abi ranked fairly high in my top 14 preference ranking, and KB seems fine, even though I’m not into her tone.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. It made her less likable and less relatable in that moment.

Abi to Gene Simmons: “…rock and roll was the Devil’s music.” A couple things on this…. 1. I wonder what Gene thought about this? He seemed a little taken back by it. 2. More importantly, how did the audience perceive it? It seems like something that would have been better left unsaid in that situation. That was an unforced error, IMO.

This video has the rehearsal with Meghan Trainor plus the performance, but not the judge comments. I’m not really a fan of Meghan, but she gave him good advice. The singing part comes so easily for him, he probably neglects the facial expressions, and other performance aspects. Usually, it probably doesn’t matter, but he’s on TV now. Even the established stars work on improving in certain areas. The good news is, he’s got the most important part down…the vocals. He’s money in the bank every time he steps on stage, in that department.

Spotify is up to 92K monthly listeners. He should easily go over 100K in the near future. He had peaked at over 80K, and dipped back down into the 60s. Obviously, his performance last week gave it another boost. GFG has 679K streams. At this rate, it could top 1 million if he makes it until the end.

I think the fact that you can text vote on this show might also help country contestants. A lot of these older people who watch the show may not want to mess around with an app or email verifications, but even old people have smart phones and know how to text.

I mean, I had McKenna #4 on my power ranking. That’s not looking too good right now.

I don’t know, but less than 24 hours ago, people were talking about a Triston/Abi/KB finale. And I declared Triston the winner. That could very well happen, but if he sings like he did tonight the rest of the way, that is not a given
