Never before was a season clearly won at a blind audition. So yeah it was a BIG win for John.

Added. Welcome! Pretty sure some county will happen but she can crush just about any belty song, so even the Clarkson catalog is in play. I just hope TPTB gives her songs she can feast on. I still have nightmares about TPTB giving Grey in S5...another power vocalist... Paramour's "Still Into You" a week after she crushed Clarkson's "Already Gone". Why? Just why? Speaking of Already Gone...that would work so well for Morgan.

Did I mention Morgan is an even better human than she is a singer? The Morgan I've come to know and adore is always positive and affirming. Can we talk about what kind of unicorn looks like this fresh from a dip in the lake? She has skin to die for!

Morgan would be TPTBs best choice to engage with the core audience. It's hard to impress with your indie chops in a 3 second sound bite. However, an A5 or so has immediate impact.

At first I though WTF? but ya know it does keep the TPTB pimping claims at bay for now.

Pretty sure this was the first Morgan Video I ever watched. This was 9 years ago. I swallowed the hook right then and there.

Very true regarding "perform live". Sadly, out of 56 contestants, it appears, we will only get to hear 16 of them perform an actual live performance. #tragic

Yes...I was Sooo looking forward to a live performance from her. My biggest disappointment so far.
