Hoping for the best for all of them I haven't been on there much, I knew something was happening but not sure what just went over there, omg poor Tony, really praying he gets better : Some of you are aware of our family’s current situation. Many have asked how they can help. Your prayers of all kinds and well wishes have given us strength over the last 18 days here in the hospital. Thank you for that. I do not like asking for help, but I also accept that we need it right now. On Feb. 15th, I found my son doubled over in excruciating pain and we promptly went to the closest ER. From there, he was taken via ambulance to a Children’s hospital for more tests and imaging. They discovered he had ruptured his sigmoid colon and required an emergency surgery. He then required several more surgeries (we are up to 5 in 18 days) and is fighting fierce infections due to bacteria in the abdominal cavity. He is making progress, but still has quite a road ahead of him to heal his abdominal surgical wound (which hasn’t been closed yet and is using a Wound Vac system.) Many of you have watched my son grow up into the amazing young man he is today. He has endured more pain in the last two weeks than what most endure in a lifetime. I will need to be home with him to care for him post op and to take him to the many follow-up and specialist appointments he needs. As my tour dates and career are put on hold, we thank you for your support throughout this challenging time. Tony is feeling better and waiting to hear from his care team as to when he will be able to have an ostomy reversal procedure. (We find out sometime in June.) Piper is the cutest cat you ever saw, and Mom is exhausted, but ready for a road trip when we can. Thank you again for your support, your patience, and for being the amazing friends and fans you are. I have been wondering what she was up to lately, I'd love to get some new music. I think she went through some trying times for a while, she said she almost lost Tony.
