Haven't been able to watch the top 11 performances yet so I'll do those later, but for now here's my top 14 ratings...
Jay Copeland - Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars - 5.5 (Cheesy, and I didn't really connect with how he interpreted the song. It was passable I guess.)
HunterGirl - Baby Girl by Sugarland - 7 (Meh it was alright, a few pretty good moments in there though)
Christian Guardino - Take Me to Church by Hozier - 6 (Interesting song choice for him, but it didn't do much for me.)
Dan Marshall - She’s Got It All by Kenny Chesny - 3.5 (Not terrible, per se, but very snooze-y)
Leah Marlene - Happy Together by The Turtles - 8.5 (The song choice concerned me but I really enjoyed this performance! An easy 4/5 stars from me! Well done!)
Fritz Hager - Let It Go by James Bay - 8.25 (Very solid performance!)
Tristen Gressett - Whataya Want From Me by Adam Lambert - 6.5 (Not my favorite song choice from him but it was an okay performance. He really worked the stage well!)
Lady K - I Believe by Fantasia - 7 (The song choice wasn't my fave, but I think she did alright with it)
Allegra Miles - Ocean Eyes by Billie Eillish - 8.25 (Easily the biggest surprise of the night for me, this interpretation was soooo good, despite a sleepy song choice)
Ava Maybee - Sign of the Times by Harry Styles - 7.5 (A solid showing from Ava, even though the beginning was not my favorite)
Mike Parker - Hurricane by Luke Combs - 7.25 (Much better than his last performance. It was solid)
Emyrson Flora - Drivers License by Olivia Rodrigo - 5.5 (Love the song choice for her but I felt like there were a few straining parts)
Noah Thompson - Stand by Me by Ben E. King - 7.5 (Solid performance, a tad boring though. Loved the rasp in his voice on this)
Nicolina Bozzo - Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen - 9 (This song showed a lot of restraint and control from her. Overdone song but she performed it very well)
