None of the contestant forums were super active by the time season 7 rolled around. lmao I remember the time where they had the "contestant showcase" section and Jasmine Trias had her forum there.

I like Brooke, but it's faded a bit over the years. I don't agree at all about her having a Lil Rounds-style blowout, it was only her last three weeks where I didn't care for her much (and IAIS was great).

I'm glad you agree! I just got to thinking about how we talk about contestants and their performances during their time on the show when the whole point is for them to create a successful career for themselves in the industry. I know a lot of people on here really go out of their way to follow their favorites' careers. And then there's people like me who could use an excuse to look into that stuff a little bit more lol.

Has anyone ever tossed around the idea of an Idol Discography Rankdown? Instead of ranking contestants, ranking the songs contestants have officially released after their time on the show? I didn't see anything similar in this forum but that doesn't mean it wasn't attempted in the past and I'm just not aware of it. The idea randomly came to me last night lol. I'm not interested as a participant but I may host one if the interest is there! I've never hosted a rankdown before. FYI: If I were to host it, I wouldn't begin it until later this year, once other games have gotten the opportunity to finish. I'd allow international contestant's music to be included, as well. Carly Rae Jepsen, Will Young, etc.
