-John's remaining pairing is Zan/Brittney by default, so if Mike/Zach doesn't end in a save then his save is either Brittney Allen or the loser of Nelson/Darious

-We'll get either Nick or John's save (loser of Mike/Zach for John or Michael for Nick)

-If Michael is not Nick's save, then his save is Anders Drerup

Even battle. I give points to Roderick because the song's definitely out of his wheelhouse. While I'd personally pick Joanna, I think Roderick's win is deserved here and I'm glad Joanna was stolen (I wouldn't have blamed the coaches for stealing Roderick if it were the other way around).

Thunderstorm/Cedrice is the last battle with a steal or save, so unless they want to mess with the editing and make one of the saves the final battle aired, they'll likely be the last battle that gets aired.

Really though, unless someone tries to do the original upbeat version, I don't wanna hear this ever again.

1. Team Legend - Strong contenders throughout with only a couple artists that are just "okay." The only team I can say that every artist deserved a chair turn.

2. Team Blake - Strong contenders as well, but a few artists that are genuinely weak and shouldn't have been chair turns.

3. Team Kelly - No strong contenders in my opinion, but a lot of them feel middle of the pack with only a few people who shouldn't have turned chairs.

4. Team Nick - One strong contender, some middle of the pack, and a lot of fodder or people who didn't deserve a chair turn.

Hunter & Jack and Jeffery's were the only 2 versions that did anything for me.

Britton and Paxton are forgettable.

I remember disliking Reagan's and even as the sentimental choice for Adam, it was absurd that he chose Reagan over RADHA.

Brittney's is  fine, but I only remember it because it was literally yesterday.

Technically, yes, they're still all possibilities. But if Jon was still able to have breakfast with the rest of the team on day 2 of battles, that means he had to move on to KO's. There's no other place for Jon to go other than being Nick's steal.

I'll reserve full judgment until I see the actual Roderick/Joanna battle. There's always a chance that Roderick really did outperform Joanna or do something surprising - but I'll gladly admit that the pairing and song choice are just bizarre

Some highs tonight combined with some iffy/low performances. Looking forward to battles!

1. Kailey Abel (9.5/10) - I'm a sucker for rasp and she brought something absolutely special to the song. Easily one of the most surprising auditions of the season. These are the kinds of auditions that I look forward to.

2. Mandi Castillo (9/10) - Gorgeous tone, beautifully done. I'll always be a little bit biased towards Spanish singers, but Mandi was truly great tonight! Looking forward to what she does next! Hope John treats her right.

3. Cedrice (9/10) - Simple and stunning. She made a memorable first impression with this song without doing too much. She would've been an easy four chair turn, clearly. I wouldn't be surprised to see another Chris Blue situation on our hands with her...

4. Micah Iverson (8/10) - A good audition but not what I would've chosen for someone with his voice. Questionable coach decision here as well. Nick probably would've been a wiser decision genre-wise, but we'll see how Kelly does.

5. Gigi Hess (7.5/10) - Some good moments in here, but the performance didn't really reach a "WOW" level for me. Glad she got her chair turn so she can improve with Kelly.

6. Kevin Farris (7.5/10) - On paper, I should love this audition a lot more than I did. It's missing something that I can't quite point out. He's good and I'm glad he got a chair turn, but I don't feel the need to listen to this again. lol at him not sharing the mic with Nick properly though.

7. Cam Spinks (7.5/10) - Not a performance I need to hear again just based on personal preference, but he did well with it.

8. Brittney Allen (7.5/10) - I do like her but vocally I'm not sure she's at the level where she compete with the others in the competition. I'm glad she got this rotten song choice out of the way early though.

9. Anders Drerup (6.5/10) - I'm all for switching up an overdone song, but this wasn't very impressive. He didn't sound bad, but I don't necessarily think this warranted a chair turn.

Tracey Preston (3/10) - Good moments, iffy moments, but definitely messy/inconsistent.

Tyrone Perkins (3/10) - If I'm just trying to chill at a lounge? Absolutely, he's good. For this competition, he's just not right.

Allison Grace (1.5/10) - Disliked this from the first note. And no, she didn't recover at all, Blake.

If I had to guess, those 7-battle episodes could just shortclip two of them in between two commercial breaks. Not entirely montages, but not airing them in full either. Kind of like the Andrew Sevener/Hannah Kay and Abby Kasch/Jackson Marlow being cut back to back in one episode.

She could be lying because Allegra/Joanna seems like a pretty logical pairing and we know Allegra won her battle, but part of me can totally see Nick pairing her with Michael and letting him win lol.
