They have a blog and I had to do some deep searching on it to find the one Russian season that was definitely not SYTYCD but kind of SYTYCD and I found it and will be uploading it because I’ve been looking for that Little Prince routine since this rankdown began. Syracusemug also watched them I believe but not to the same degree as Zyan. And there was another poster Vera who was also from Ukraine or maybe the Netherlands. Either way they knew Dutch and would translate the drama that happened on the Dutch seasons.

To give some background to @FrogLenzen by the time Season 4 had started there had already been the first season of TUDB so I think expectations were pretty high. Especially for Anna-Alicia who was on the winning team. And then she was paired with the incredibly hot but not very good Juvat and that was like a sign of how the season was going to be.

I think there may be distinctions between what would be like a social foxtrot and what would be a competition foxtrot which is where the phrase may come into play today. But they almost always call it Slowfox in Benelux so it may also be an international thing.

But yah on this point I believe there was a point made about Stefano being “feminine” or I guess probably more appropriately not masculine enough. I don’t exactly remember. I think it may have been a public opinion thing as well. (Stefano was later on TUDB so I’m pretty sure Dan and the other judges/choreographers do really like Stefano)

They call it slowfox because originally there was just “foxtrot” and then it split to slowfox (or what we call foxtrot) and quickstep

Stefano basically came out to the public during the course of the show. He’s, I believe, when the show aired, maybe the first openly gay male contestant on SYTYCD.

I am running an experiment which has a four hour incubation time which has given me enough time to review Genessy in Season 15 and I stand by my statements.

Kuba is a contemporary dancer from Poland's season 3. He was on a season with Wiola, Gabriel, and Marcin so nobody here remembers him. TBH aside from those three Ada and Iza are probably the only two dancers from that season are memorable. The first week he was given safety along with Wiola for dancing the best male solo from the contemporary group. After that he had a ballet with Klaudia (fine), an Afro Jazz with Iza (fine), a Samba with Justyna (not fine), a jazz with Anita (not great), and a hip-hop with Pauline in the Top 8 that landed him in the bottom for his third straight trip and ended up getting him eliminated.
