    But Iam (This is going to sound stupid I know) had me from his audition to now.

     

    At this point. Colin losing is the best thing that could happen here. lol

     

    I still have hope in Iam/Megan underdog final two...

    To me, he is not a better singer than Megan, none of them are good performers. Both Colin and Megan have growth arcs. Iam has remained the same. He has not gotten better or grown in any way, nor has he gotten worse.     First of all. He's 18 (OOOOHHH I KNOW YOUNG. lol) and young. So obviously just losing his parent is going to effect how he performs and his big reason for even singing right now.


    Second. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Did he drag his dad's corpse in there or something?


    My point is... Losing a parent does not make one a contender for sob stories or even sob story of the year!


    You don't have to love his voice, or his style. Or even his unique capability to emote vocals beyond his years.

    I will not see the words "Sob story" and dead parent in the same sentence and just sit back and not comment. lol


    I relate to Iam because like many I'm sure around their 30's... I lost my dad in 2021. After his health drastically declined starting in 2019.

    I am not here to rant, but my god. We've seen so much worse on Idol in terms of sob stories. Losing a parent will never be one.
