I just saw Iam live on October 26th and apart from being a little green with concert banter/knowing how to intro his covers and originals...
He killed it. In western, PA of all places. You know we are famous for Gabby now but you couldn't pay me to care about her... lol
ANYWAY. Iam has an niche audience yes, but Hawaiian fans and others all know he's the real deal. SO he's only 19 so what.
My fandom aside. I think he has seriously gotten star potential similar to Ruben Studdard. Imo But hey out of all the artists I've followed from Idol only Haley Reinhart and Kris Allen are constantly wowing me with their performances and original music 10 plus years or so after becoming a fan of them!-

Kris was bussed in so many other ways. If you followed season 8 obsessively post-Idol like I did..
Anyway. Allison should've made the finale. Adam always said he didn't have winning in mind. Just making it far enough to get noticed by record labels.
So yeah. Kris and Allison should've been final two. Now that's an unpopular opinion!

Alejandro needs to PROJECT his voice more. It's better than most people (including himself!) give him credit for. IMO

I didn't watch Idol until season 6 so I always say I missed the first original five seasons.
Because it's done it's duty. You can't live hoping for the same nostalgic outcome in life. imo
I loved them in their heyday but it's beyond silly to hope for the same nostalgia feeling with ABC Idol.
