    omg I did not know about Mandisa I kept seeing her name mentioned thinking she was a guest due to her success. This is so sad

    I believe she was dropped by the label before releasing any music, really sucked for her. She did release some independent music afterwards, I assume Idol didn't let her do that. She also goes by Samantha Diaz on Spotify but they used her idol name Just Sam.
