    Trigger's review in SCM was such a positive, thoughtful commentary. I smiled the whole time reading it.

    I guess Trigger was disappointed in those Mercury choices because he had hopes Scotty would produce music more like his idols: Randy Travis, Josh Turner, and George Jones. We know Scotty himself was unhappy with some of the singles...but when you are a new artist with a strict contract, you are forced to go along with your label.

    Actually, SCM (Trigger) has mellowed a lot towards Scotty the past couple of years. I guess he realizes that Scotty has been so much better than a lot of the artists who have come and gone since his AI win. Yeah, Trigger.
