Would've rather seen Tristen and Mike...given that the judges have often ended up saving minority contestants, I'm kind of hoping that Tristen gets it direct and Mike gets a save, since I think it's more likely than Mike direct, Tristen saved. Though maybe I only want Mike through?

Tristen, Mike, Emyrson, and Fritz are the four remaining for two spots...I want Mike/Tristen, but would take Mike/Emyrson or even Tristen/Emyrson.

You know, I wasn't really a big Leah Marlene fan throughout auditions, but she's blown me away each of the past two nights.

So based on Katy's mention of Gabby, Cadence is a shoo-in for one of the four spots, right? That sounded a lot like "We're taking you as far as we can regardless of what America wants".

...You do make a point. This is literally the only show that really gets my full attention any more; other shows, I'm watching while also watching streamers on my computer.

You know, I can complain all I want about the blatant favoritism they've shown certain contestants, but Huntergirl has gone out every time and proven that she deserved that Platinum Ticket.

I mean it was pretty obvious they were trying to manipulate this season like they did in Season 8, though their presumptive favorite literally dropped out.

Why are these shows trying to downsize their voting rounds? Idol has been shorter ever since the start of the ABC era.

I'm not sure if I was right to give Ava votes...I actually voted for 15 contestants, because there were so many who were good, and a few who were so bad, that I felt it was more important to get rid of the trash. If I'd known that there were wild card picks tonight, I'd have focused more on my favorites. Well, at least Cameron didn't get voted through. Hopefully America messes up just enough that the judges can't pick any of the bad ones.

Understandable. There are certain artists or songs that I'm like that for (I didn't think Elli was that good regardless, but I absolutely love that song so I was probably extra-harsh), and I honestly think that Ava could've scored higher if she hadn't chosen such an ambitious song.
