Everything about this week is just cheesy. First of all the studios look like something a kindergarten teacher would hang up in their classroom. Like seriously how do the producers expect the artists to be taken seriously. The studios themselves aren’t good either.

If I had to rank them I’d say

At the bottom of the barrel there is

13 - Joana... literally these are the song choices that had Aliyah Moulden struggling the first half of the live shows. She’s not showing off any of the talent she has and it’s just a bland mess.

12 - Myracle... a karaoke performance if I ever heard one.

Then theres

11. Rose... She’s just not setting herself apart vocally which she clearly can and it’s gonna hurt her.

10. Cali... This country thing is not working out for her. If Blake wanted a country girl he should’ve saved Gracee she would’ve killed this.

9. Shane Q... This is his best one by far but he just is not a good singer I’m very sorry but it’s true.

In the middle there’s

8. Ricky - There was nothing wrong with this there was just nothing ... right with this?

7. Hello Sunday - The girls sound fine except for their chanting (?) throughout the song. Some cheesy artistic choices as well

6. Jake - Not much to say about this, very good but kinda boring.

5. Marybeth - Another good performance that just didn’t do much for me

Finally at the top there is

4. Kat - Technically a great performance but yet another wacky song choice, it’s getting old.

3. Katie - The studio sounded great but I can see her screaming through it on stage

2. Max - I wouldn’t have expected this song choice for him but it complemented him very well.

1. Will - He actually did really good on this and I can see it turning out very well for him live. My favorite of all the studios

I had a nightmare that Gwen had Rose sing "Sweet Escape" because it fits her previous occupation

I think that the song must be suggested but I can be suggested even only once and chosen, I remember JHud and Noah Mac going through a list of suggested songs and scrolling quite a bit

Maybe, but the same could be argued about Rose Short, Myracle, the Hoot, Shane, Ricky Duran, and MaryBeth.

 

Those are all generic karaoke artists who offer nothing unique in terms of style or tone.

Exactly this. People just assume that Indie girls are supposed to be soooo unique while literally everyone else is allowed to be a complete carbon copy vocal wise.

Could be either one of those. A few tears streaming down her face would help.

Even though I don't care for the majority of the artists who you listed, and actively dislike a few.

Many people say s14 has no talent but all but Kyla is imo the most talented person in 14 15 16 and 17 besides Maelyn. I love Brynn but Kyla deserved to win

Anything is possible, but unless Kat improves quite a bit, I can’t see her making it to the finale. Hopefully, it was just first live show jitters. I would pick really simple songs for her, and focus on getting her to stay on pitch as much as possible. She doesn’t have to blow everyone away with amazing vocals. She just needs to be competent.

I’m completely in awe at this, not only was the top 8 100% accurate in who would be voted through, the bottom 8 (counting 2 a team) in who is in the most danger, were the 8 who got the public votes :fear: These polls are insanely accurate at this point

Whut :dead: . There’s plenty of time for people to flop, especially her style :teehee: . The only one with a firm finale trajectory is Katie and Hoot (and probably Ricky). I can see Katie being in trouble with some song choices, but the 2 songs John chose for her (BR & PO) were a lot better than the ones she chose (BA & KO), so I think she’ll be fine

Shes topping every poll and has stellar social media scores plus the top 13 is very mediocre so she has plenty of too mess up. Plus Blake has gotten 2 members into the finale for a hot minute and we know Cali ain’t getting there

It seems like the artists are being treated pretty poorly tbh... both Jake and Kyndal have described being eliminated as finally being free to do what they want and this is not the only season this has came up. Maybe team Gwen was just rough but I highly doubt it

While I’m still feeling sorry for myself about Kyndal and Khaleas untimely elimination and robbery, I really feel for Gracee and her fans. No reason why she shouldn’t have gone through tonight.

Some conclusions I'm drawing - correct me if there's something really wrong/off here?

 

Blake:

-Kat Hammock seems to be a lock, with Ricky Duran also very likely taking another PV.

-Blake's bottom 2 is definitely Cali Wilson and Ricky Braddy

-There's a good chance Cali Wilson was last and her only shot is at Blake's save (which... isn't unlikely if Kat/Ricky D got the top 2).

 

Gwen:

-Team Gwen sucks social media-wise

-Rose is probably the one performing the strongest overall online?

-Honestly it's a 5-way tie for me. I don't want to make any assumptions here.

 

Kelly:

-Max is a lock.

-Hoot and Hello Sunday are 2 and 3, and it can go either way for the second PV. The other should be the coach save.

-Damali and Shane are the bottom 2.

 

John:

-Katie's a lock

-Will/Marybeth/Alex are in a fight for 2/3/4 since it's so even

-Khalea's in last, and her only shot is if John shows her mercy with a coach save
