On another note I'm kinda surprised we still don't know duets yet, especially since on the east coast it's technically the day of the show.

Ugh, if only Blake had Marybeth, she would be a force to be reckoned with.

Blake probably would have won with her, tbh.

I haven't been following Rose' s performances very closely but its interesting that so many here love her. In previous seasons, most people here called Kyla and Kymberli screamers. Both seem superior to Rose in ability but similar style wise yet Rose is the most loved

I’ve been wondering this too. Rose has had very different songs for a diva, maybe that plays a role?

Not sure if that really means anything big but most performances don’t tend to do that.

So Jake really is gonna win this season huh...

Lemme break it down based on their odds.

Katie and Jake are locks, no one can really deny that.

Rose and Ricky are the predictable choices right now. Ricky’s will probably depend on his song choice and performance slot, if he’s Blake’s choice for a finalist then he’ll likely make it. Rose is the only one left on Gwen’s team so expect her to get pimped pretty hard. I can’t see her losing an instant save to anyone.

Kat can make an upset if her fan base is stealthy enough. Considering how her social media standings has been she definitely has a stealthy fan base. The only question is will it be enough.

Hello Sunday have some sort of fan base as well as they have been pitchy as hell a lot but still voted through. I don’t think they’ll win an instant save but they can definitely be in the middle.

Will got pimped hard this week but he’s just not popular enough to have a good shot. If he makes the instant save and puts on a show it MIGHT be enough but I doubt it.

Poor Marybeth is gonna need a miracle to escape the bottom.

Prediction: Katie won't close next week but will close the finale.

If Katie closes the show next week who will close the finale?

Because I can’t see Katie not closing the finale show at this moment.

Katie/Rose (Powerhouses + Rose is Gwen's last contestant. Pairing her with a frontrunner will give her a giant boost)

Jake/Ricky (They can probably deliver some sort of country/southern rock performance together)

Marybeth/Kat (Some soft song will probably be all they need)

Will/Hello Sunday (Leftovers, there's always that one oddball pairing. Hello Sunday is the wild card here, it's kinda hard to place them.)

I also wouldn't be surprised if we got Kat/Jake and Ricky/Marybeth instead.

The performances tonight are giving me thoughts of a finale of Jake, Katie, Ricky and Rose... all four of them are high on social media every week and this week in particular was really good for all of them.

They just now posted Katie's video on Facebook, Twitter, and IG. The others were all posted in order. Why? Probably because they want hers on top of the page.

She's already passed everyone in terms of reactions except for Hoot and Rose... and she's close behind the former.
