Yes. YT is useless.

If there's no geo restriction on some videos, then we can assume a lot of those views come from overseas, and don't translate into votes.

Even if they're geo-restricted, I'm willing to bet a good percentage of those who watch the videos don't follow the show live, and don't vote. It's obvious from many of the comments (asking about Adam's team-lol, not knowing who's in whose team or who's already been eliminated etc.)

if YT was the main indicator then almost every winner would be someone different.

I literally wrote when the top 13 was announced that Jake Hoot was a huge favorite to win. The responses was that he likely wouldn't make it past the top 8. IDFers vastly underestimated his appeal as he was the only country pick and those fans loved Jake Hoot. He got a fan name before anyone else, was the most streamed artist every single week, had huge social media activity among country fans, and their support never waivered. It was an obvious win.

I knew he was gonna win once the top 13 was revealed.

What made literally anyone think the only country singer in the top 13 was NOT gonna win?

Not only will a black woman never win, but ANY woman with a big voice won't win, let alone reach the top 2.

Katie's white and she still couldn't beat the men!

This. I'm done being unrealistic lol I've lost too many snowflakes before the finale (most of them are black females) so I'm thrilled and fine with them getting to the finale, Rose did amazing last night and there's nothing that can deny it.
