Here’s Triston’s song. I’m sure the Facebook grannies will like it, but I don’t know about a 15 year old singing the lyric, “sexy swingin’ walk.” It’s bro-country trash.

I actually posted Modern Day Bonnie & Clyde in Will’s fan thread this morning. I wondered how he can tell that story in two minutes, but otherwise, it’s a great fit for him.

Is Kayko more of a dark horse than most of us think? Could he be the “snowflake killer” of the season?

Oh, I remember everyone thinking he was the winner after that. These are heavily autotuned, and he only got one chair.

I’m not too familiar with that song, but I just listened to it. I know he’s a huge Toby Keith fan, and covers him well, so it wouldn’t surprise me of this is it.

I’ll tell you what tripped me up in that. It reached #1 in 2000, and I was focused on those songs. Considering it’s been less than 3 months since he passed away, I think he could do well with any Toby Keith song.

The only 2000 popular country song I can see working for Will and fitting into 2 minutes is, “How Do You Like Me Now.” By Toby Keith. It would be his 3rd mid to uptempo song in a row. He regularly covers Toby Keith.

For Will, it seems the popular country songs from 2000 don’t include a lot of good options for the show, in my opinion, so I’m expecting either a more obscure choice, or something from another genre.

What year was McKenna born? I guess she was born in 98, but I was focused on the 1997 release date. It could happen.

Right, it’s not exact science but it confirms that it’s competitive for spots 3-9.

I see her name come up a lot on the various Facebook posts. She seems to have an active fanbase. Maybe they are mostly from Maine? I don’t think many singing contestants come from there, and there’s nothing else to do in that state. LOL

Yep, she needs a great song choice and a great performance if this is an indicator of her standing.

Yeah, there are some inconsistent ones for sure. Then we have Kayko leading in reacts on Monday, but a peek under the hood reveals potential vulnerability. So, I will post the current reacts and ratios for both performances, plus the reacts for the voting posts for both nights, and average the placements for all of the top 10, just to see what it tells us.
