I just got back from seeing Poor Things in theaters, so I’ll choose Yorgos Lanthimos’ fourth directorial feature, Alps.

Assuming this will start next month (work is crazy through the end of the year), I’d love to join this round- I’ll post my pick later

Melinda Verga is a f*cking icon and completely made this season worth watching. I stan!

I’m gonna be the annoying Nymphia Wind stan this season, I can already tell

Not sure how I rank the queens but Ginger ended up being my favorite by the end. I was convinced that Michael would win so what a pleasant surprise! 
 

This season was a vast improvement over S3&S4 but there wasn’t a queen I stanned to the levels of pretty much half the cast of UK2 lol. Still, I loved it and now UK6 has big shoes to fill!

What a fun season! I would have had Cara or Kate in the top 4 over Dede but I still loved watching Dede all season and that roast episode was amazing. No one flopped. I definitely think Ginger deserves to win the season but I’m not convinced Ru is giving her the crown. Excited to see who wins!

I like this season a lot  It’s miles better than both UK3 and especially UK4. Having said that I don’t think there’s a super obvious front runner though Tomara is my favorite.

I don’t mind horror and anime in small doses (lol at them being lumped together when they are completely different genres), but when a large percentage of each round’s movies consist of either or both it just makes it hard for me to be excited about participating. I’ve never been a huge fan of either so they just more often than not become chores for me to get through

The Spectacular Now

I know this page is buried but I finally finished S15 and just had to share my thoughts somewhere! The extended episodes on Paramount+ make the season a million times better because more queens get screentime and it doesn't just feel like the Sasha Colby show feat. Mistress and Luxx lmao.

1. Anetra - Not the most exciting personality out of drag, but it doesn't even matter because she was born for performing. Wowow maybe the best lipsyncer of all time or definitely up there. Consistently good in challenges, and the ones that she bombed were usually bombed by others so she never looked embarrassingly bad or anything. Just in the vacuum of S15, without any prior reputations withstanding, Anetra should have won this season imo.

2. Loosey LaDuca - Loosey isn't perfect and definitely can be a bit much but honestly I don't like the way the show edited her. Lol if it were up to me she would have won three or four challenges and should not have gone home for the makeover. I feel that she got a bit bullied by Luxx and Mistress, and it was super entertaining but like I genuinely felt bad for her. That mixed with her kind of being robbed and I just think the show did her a little dirty. Or maybe I just need to Let Loose!!

3. Marcia Marcia Marcia - Her runway package kind of sucked sometimes lol but she is part of one of the best lipsyncs ever and is incredibly likable and unproblematic (up to this point in time). I also like her 70s aesthetic and think she just needs more time in the drag oven. I also think she was kind of screwed the episode she left and think she did a decent job on her own and opening the show. But whatever. We stan!

4. Spice - Spice reading Malaysia for not knowing the words to the lipsync and then not knowing the words herself is peak comedy. She's so self aware and unaware at the same time lmfao. I genuinely wish she stuck around longer. Her (and Sugar's) runway package gave me Ariel Versace vibes though looooool she did not know how to change up her silhouette!

5. Jax - I liked Jax a lot and was sad to see her leave. Sue me. She's super talented.

6. Sasha Colby - Sasha is really likable and one of the best ever at drag on the show. She objectively deserves the crown absolutely and always slayed the runway (even if I often preferred Luxx and Loosey's looks). I just felt like she was preordained to win the season from the start and I don't connect with her a lot of the time. 

7. Mistress Isabelle Brooks - I feel like she was trying too hard to be iconic but she's still really fun lol. She definitely seems a lot older than the twins but some of her antics reminded me of how young she truly is. 

8. Luxx Noir London - She's kinda insufferable for me but I'll come around to her eventually. She had some great moments and I love her aesthetic but do not find her enjoyable beyond that

9. Salina EsTitties - Salina is really fun most of the time! Her runways were kind of not good and she EARNED that Golden Boot lol. Lala Ri found quaking

10. Malaysia Babydoll Foxx - She's so cute!!! A really fun presence on the show and I can see why she won Miss Congeniality for sure! I feel like Sasha would win that if finalsts were eligible

11. Sugar - We didn't get to see enough of her but I loved what I saw of her lol she and Spice together are something else. They definitely share a brain

12. Irene Dubois - Queen of taking over the reunion after being on the show for one episode haha. We stan her messy ass

13. Princess Poppy - This high just for wearing Rebecca Glasscock's entrance look to the Reunion lol. Queen of quitting drag!

14. Amethyst - I really enjoyed her 7 rings lipsync and Snatch Game performance!

15. Aura Mayari - Who? She won a challenge? Oh, the hot one!

16. Robin Fierce - Sadly didn't get much from her this season  Maybe with a different group of queens she would have done better but she just faded into the background unfortunately

I will get my rankings in either Sunday or Monday at the latest!

Not normally super engaged with movies older than like the 90s, but I was really engrossed with All About Eve surprisingly!

Watching Mexico right now and really enjoying it, especially the runways! Matraka is my favorite
