xfactor22
While the winner was great and all, and the top 26/35/etc. were all talented in their own ways, I’m redoing the season how I’d want it to go. Things may be a bit different, like more nights and I may give the contestants different songs/theme nights. I expect IDF to like some of my redo and not others. I’d love to hear comments on my decisions/songs/etc. Also, due to my usual lack of following through with these, I’m going to be giving myself a deadline of when to post each. I’m going to start with the showstoppers round and there me a couple of switches I make with the contestants in my top 26 vs. the actual 26. My deadline for making this will be no later than 7 pm ct tomorrow. Edited May 22 by xfactor22
xfactor22
Sorry for being a little late than I said Posting showstopper results every few minutes in this thread until all of my top 26 choices are revealed. Not bothering posting video links for showstoppers because it’s too much but will when I put together the next rounds videos. But I did factor showstoppers and previous round performances into my decisions. And here we go: Fire, Preston Duffe, Iam Tongi, and Colin Stough walk to the room. I enjoyed Fire’s audition (both of them), and she had a good Hollywood duet (wish I could find her solo). She really came alive in the showstoppers. Preston Duffe has a fantastic audition, and showed more of what he could do in the Hollywood duet. He seemed to take a step back in the showstoppers, but it was still a good performance. Colin Stough had a good audition a decent Hollywood solo. His showstopper round was nice but a bit hard to understand. And I do appreciate his growth arc throughout the real life season. Only two of the people in this group will be making the top 26. These two are: Iam Tongi and FIRE And with that, two country contestants are sent packing. They’re good singers, talented (Preston is a great songwriter and Colin sings well),but tbh, I don’t think they hold a candle to another country contestant from the top 35. Next into the room, to be announced after the break: Emma Busse and Nailyah Serenity Safe So Far: 1. Fire 2. Iam Tongi Eliminated: 1. Preston Duffe 2. Colin Stough Edited Wednesday at 08:47 AM by xfactor22
xfactor22
And we’re back. Next result is Emma Busse and Nailyah Serenity. Which one out of these two will make it Emma has a good voice and has had good performances Nailyah’s is so nice and soothing and she has a great voice. The person moving on is NAILYAH SERENITY I like Emma well enough, but her style just isn’t my cup of tea. Next up is the pair of Lucy Love and Warren Peay Safe So Far: 1. Fire 2. Iam Tongi 3. Nailyah Serenity Eliminated: 1. Preston Duffe 2. Colin Stough 3. Emma Busse
xfactor22
Lucy Lovr or Warren Peay? Who will it be? Lucy Love has a gray voice, even if it isn’t particularly my style. Warren Peay has been one of the best country guys we’ve had on Idol in a while. the person moving on to the top 26 is WARREN PEAY Lucy is great and all…which is why Lucy LOVE is also going through to the top 26 Next up, coming to the decision table is Cam Amen, Michael Williams, and Adin Boyer Safe So Far: 1. Fire 2. Iam Tongi 3. Nailyah Serenity 4. Warren Peay 5. Lucy Love Eliminated: 1. Preston Duffe 2. Colin Stough 3. Emma Busse
xfactor22
Out of Adin Boyer, Cam Amen, and Michael Williams, who will advance? Adin Boyer is a terrific songwriter and he has a good voice, and a potential to be great with practice. Cam’s voice and stage presence is something special Michael Williams had a good audition and his original song part of his audition was awesome. He has a great voice. But some of his song choices in the real life live shows were a tad questionable. Going through to the top 26 is is Cam Amen and Michael Williams which means we say goodbye to Adin Boyer. Adin is great. He as a phenomenal songwriting ability and his instrumentalism is great. He has the potential to develop into an amazing singer. He’s not bad at all, he is a good singer. He‘s just not as vocally great as some of the top 26, but he has the potential to be. But I am a fan of him and love how he used his time on the show to inspire people and talk about autistic people. I am also #Autistic next up: Nutsa, Malik Heard, PJAE, and Mariah Faith are about to heat their fate. Who will survivor out of these four? Safe So Far: 1. Fire 2. Iam Tongi 3. Nailyah Serenity 4. Warren Peay 5. Lucy Love 6. Cam Amen 7. Michael Williams Eliminated: 1. Preston Duffe 2. Colin Stough 3. Emma Busse 4. Adin Boyer Edited Wednesday at 09:23 AM by xfactor22
