140. Ben Briley - I barely remember him.

139. Qaasim Middleton - He was middle of the pack for me. I think I remember feeling he lasted just a tad too long.

138. Olivia Rox - I think she deserved to go further. I think she had a solid voice. However, I hate her stage name.

137. Amanda Overmyer - I wanted her to do so much better than she did because I enjoyed having a female rocker on the show.

136. Michelle Sussett - I love seeing Latino representation on the show. Unfortunately, we don't tend to fare too well (unless you count 1/4 Puerto Rican Scotty winning and of course, Alejandro). I don't think Michelle was good enough to make the finals but she was fun to watch.

So no Jordin, Pia, or Haley...for now.  Everyone can breathe easy and put their knives away. Glad to see you didn't break my heart

145. Paul Jolley - He's so nice. I met him on the season 12 tour and I think he was my favorite of them all, interaction-wise. On the show though, he was middle of the pack for me.

143. Camile Velasco - I always thought she had a unique sound but unfortunately her song choices really showed the weaker side of her voice. Agree with you that she would've been better off waiting a few years.

142. Lindsey Cardinale - AGREE. I absolutely LOVE the sound of her voice (I still watch her audition from time to time). Unfortunately, those song choices did her in.

141. Ramiele Malubay - I thought she lasted too long. I never really got her.

What to expect next:

• Was in a Nickelodeon show - I hope this is not Jordin (she's the only one I can think of who guess-starred on a show).
• Ballads are boring! - Not Pia please
• Remember her as a dreamer - Yeah, probably Michelle Sussett
• Oh Candy and Ronnie, have you seen them yet - I hope this isn't Haley Reinhart (can you tell I will hate this set if I'm right about Jordin/Pia/Haley? )

Mikalah One of my faves but definitely because of personality haha. I really liked her audition but unfortunately she only really did well with God Bless the Child.

• The lone finalist from a US Territory - Jorge Nunez (my people... Puerto Rico!)

164. Karen Rodriguez - I was so sad to see her Idol run go the way it did. I was actually a fan beforehand because she had appeared on the Spanish-language Objetivo Fama and gave a wonderful performance of "El Hombre Que Yo Amo".  I was happy to see her do some work with Romeo Santos after Idol (for the non-Spanish speakers, he is crazy popular) and was also excited to see that she was signed by Roc Nation Latin. I thought she really had a chance to blow up but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have panned out. I think she's super talented but her Idol run didn't really reflect that.

162. Maddie Walker - I vaguely remember enjoying her and being a little sad she got eliminated when she did.

161. Leah LaBelle - My season 3 fave along with Diana. Mostly I loved her audition and I just kept hoping she'd do better. Unfortunately that didn't really happen . I was happy to see her success with Sexify and was shocked to hear of her death. I completely agree with your mini-rant. So preventable. I too don't drive when I've had a drink and if I do, it's hourssss later.

OK this set killed me LOL.... Ace and Chris were like my top favorites in their seasons (plus Jordin on AI6). My email is even based off of Ace's name LMAO... Nah, but objectively speaking, I totally understand. I'm actually rewatching AI6 now and I know Chris was one of the weakest. Still, I wouldn't quite rank either of them so low but again, I was a fan, so maybe that's the reason. Also, Tristan: waaaay overrated. I hated how the judges acted like she was sooo amazing.

ugh.  I thought that the one good thing about this condensed format was that it would mean no godawful Judges Save....   

I'm actually not mad about it this time around... since there's such a drastic cut the first week, I think it'll be nice to have one more get another chance (even though they'll probably choose someone who SHOULD go home, knowing their track record).

For Grace last week, and I also voted last season. However, the last time I hardcore voted was Season 7.

I like them both (literally have listened to "God Made a Woman" every day this week) but I prefer Grace overall so she got my votes.
