Count me in as another one who loved Baga Chipz during UK1 and loves British humor in general! I wish Baga had done an impersonation of Anne Robinson during Snatch Game. 😍

That would’ve been another epic impersonation. 🤣

I don't - should I? And yes to Love Island - Love Island UK >>>

    And yes, Alfie is

Apprentice UK is amazing. It’s always got the token villain who gives me life. 😍 Series 9 is a good one to start with if you’re new to it. Quite a lot of drama and Luisa. 🥰

Which series of Love Island has been your favourite? I loooooooved series 2!

It depends - I watch lots of reality TV from the UK, but some sitcom and drama esp. if it's historical drama which I feel British TV does better than anyone else.

And my partner is a big fan of Zoey & Alfie so I watch their vlogs here & there.

Do you watch The Apprentice UK? Please tell me that you do! or previous series of Love Island?

    Alfie Deyes though. 😍

I'm in the middle really. I'm British, I didn't like Baga and hated her runways, but at the same time I can totally see the appeal. She is kinda what embodies old-school British drag - very camp, very particular sense of humor.

    you’re british? 👋

I would argue against the idea that British humour doesn't translate to America. More importantly, I would argue that Baga's humour is not what made me dislike her.

British humour doesn’t translate well. I’ve seen it on different TV shows where people find someone insulting or rude when something was meant sarcastic or witty.

The reason I don’t think a lot of other people got her was mainly because of her looks and I understand that. Most British queens aren’t as polished as some of the American ones if we’re to compare in general. A lot of American queens live to lip sync and dance but the culture over here is very live comedic and insulting rather than put on a lip sync show. Kind of what Charlie Hides was getting at. She still had no excuse though.

FWIW, Andrew's British and he hated her too. But I do wonder if her humour didn't translate across the Atlantic. I just found her unbearable every week and thought she should've been read to filth for her Amy Winehouse "tribute".

    oh really?

I don’t think it translated well at all. It’s that British humour that people in America/Canada don’t seem to get. It’s no ones fault.. just happens.

I do love that she’s been constantly working since the show. Probably more than any other queen from that season. She’s been on a non-stop tour of the UK and been to my city twice since. 😍

I welcome any rebuttal to my Baga write-up. I'm definitely not a fan but now's the chance to say why you are.

    she’s an absolute queen. ❤️

I don’t know why but I think British people get her more than other nationalities do? Most queens over here are quite like her and have that mucky kind of humour that she does. It’s hard to explain but I’m a die hard fan.

  8. episode 2 phi phi o'hara GIF by RuPaul's Drag Race

    Phi Phi O’Hara (AS2)

She did Alyssa wrong so she can go here.

Phi Phi came in to All Stars wanting to change people’s perception of her... lol. She turned out to be worse than ever and came for one of the most loved queens ever. What a fool. Phi Phi’s drag had come on leaps and bounds but she was still the same old Jaremi she was during season four. When Phi Phi becomes fixated with hate, she really goes after that person and it takes over her being. Willam and Sharon got it during season four and she targeted Alyssa during All Stars 2. Why? I have no idea. She came up with the excuse that the judges eat Alyssa up and excuse minor details because it’s her. I don’t believe that’s true because Alyssa has had quite a few negative critiques during her runs on Drag Race. Anyway, she’s a childish little girl who needs to learn how to play nicely with others. Willam was right when she read her during the season four finale.

    saving Alexis Michelle

  9. This finishes later this week/next.

I personally don’t think the show needs to be cancelled. Caroline’s death had nothing to do with the show and she loved it alongside the islanders. I know there’s been a couple of deaths related to Love Island and more support was offered after Sophie’s death but the show is a platform for people to get famous. The show can only do so much in terms of support during/after.

I’m loving Demi, Jess, Ched, Luke T and Siannese. 😍

During the group rounds. She was made out to be the villain for people with a heart, Zoeykins. :P

I only got to see Hollywood via YouTube so barely any rehearsal footage or backstories. I’m shocked they gave her of all people the villain edit.

I’d have given Jena it and even dubbed some voice overs so everyone disliked her. 👹

Jessica Meuse also got a huge villain edit in S13’s Hollywood week and still made it to the top four. The voters’ minds are fickle.

when did Jess get the villain edit? I remember some rude witch making her cry? 😒 Made me feel sorry for her.

I don’t remember much about last week, so please educate me haha.
