I love Gwen seasons because they cast artists like #3. He kinda sounds like a more vocally-mature Ryley Tate. #1's voice is amazing! The breathiness + smooth runs reminds me a bit of MaKenzie Thomas. #2 and #4 are great too. Can't wait to see them all on the show

I've never watched the show for the coaches as I usually care more for their music rather than their personalities, but I'm worried the casting pool is not going to be as diverse as previous seasons. Fingers crossed for some pop/indie/rock artists to be casted!

Hello S24! A lot of my favorite types of voices tend to appear in seasons Gwen is in, so I'm looking forward to seeing the auditionees. I'm glad Gina won S23, but that probably means the indie pop artists might not get pimped as much considering Niall's Top 2 were basically from the same genre (which I was so excited for, love love love Ryley and Gina). Now that Gwen is back, I hope the general public supports her artists enough that she gets represented in the finale. I'd especially love to see her or any of the coaches take an alt rocker or an alt rnb artist to the finale.

I'm in the middle of exams so I haven't been keeping up, but congratulations to the Top 8! Sad to see Neil, Kylee, and Michael B. get the chop, but I can't wait for their performances! I love some of the song choices and I'm looking forward to hearing Gina on Wicked Game, especially.

Thank you to the spoiler team for gathering the info! I'm sad EJ and NariYella did not make it to Playoffs, but I'll still be looking forward to their peformances. Blake letting go of Neil was unexpected, but I feel he has a better chance of getting further on Team Kelly than when he was on Team Blake (not to say that he wouldn't have made it far on Team Blake, it's just that Blake's team this season is stacked).

Drew, Mia, and Reid were my top 3 for Adam's team in S14 so I had a bad playoffs result night that season lol.

What an interesting and confusing format change. I finally listened to everyone and I think casting personally spoiled me with all the indie, breathy voices this season. Bummed about Carlos and Mariah going, but I'm looking forward to hearing Gina, EJ, Michael, Neil, Kylee, Ryley, and NariYella!

Good luck to all the contestants! I haven't checked out everyone, but from those I listened to I hope Carlos, Gina, and EJ make it to the next round.

Interesting set of snippets. I liked Artists 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10. I usually end up rooting for the breathy indie voices (or bananas and avocadoes voices as i call them lmao), so #5 and #7 may be potential snowflakes.

Two words: KIM CRUSE! I really hope Kim makes it to the finale, she deserves it. If we're talking about "perfect" vocals, Kim's was the cleanest performance tonight. Morgan had a couple off-pitch notes at the start, but they don't really matter cause they're barely noticeable and she slayed the song anyway. bodie had a rough start as well, but he picked it up on the second half. I feel so bad for Parijita , I can hear the vocal fatigue setting in (similar to Rowan last week). Morgan and Bryce are most likely the top 2, and the last 3 spots could go to anyone.

This season is insane. All of Team John should be in the finale. I'd put Bryce, Brayden, and Rowan in the bottom 3 just because they had the least exciting performances for me. Wishing Kique a speedy recovery!

I have a feeling it's going to be a Rascall Flatts song. They have a lot of ballads and most are in the belt-y/powerhouse range. Although I think Burning House by Cam would sound great with Kim's voice.

Parijita and Kim cleared the stage omg. I need both of them in the finale. Kique (!!) and Devix with the indie/alt rock arrangements, and Eric with rock Adele; three of my favorite performances so far this season. Bryce was underwhelming tonight; his song choice was not the best. Brayden had his best performance so far, his tone projects well live. Bodie got a deceptively difficult song, hopefully he gets Blake's CS if he doesn't get PV.

I enjoy Bryce's tone as well, so I'd be fine with him making Top 5.

KIQUE! I've been watching the show since Season 3 and Kique's performance has got to be one of my favorite performances throughout the show. I've got the same range as him so I'm definitely stealing his version for karaoke nights haha. I've only seen the performances posted on YouTube, but Parijita, Morgan M., and Rowan all did amazing as well. I definitely would love a Top 5 consisting of bodie, Kique, Morgan, Parijita, and Rowan.

bodie being triple leaked? TPTB have been treating my faves well over the last few seasons. I'm curious to see what TPTB's plan is this season with pimping a non-country artist on Blake's team over his two country artists. I hope Rowan continues to get a good edit, but the odds are against her.

Just watched this week's battles and Gwen stays the queen of battle rounds. Destiny and Justin were amazing! The runs, the belts, the theatrics, everything was on point. Parijita is definitely one of my snowflakes this season. Her tone and control are outstanding! Eric and Sydney's battle lowkey remind me of Chloe and Noah's semifinals duet (haunting arrangement, red lights). So happy we finally get to see Eric in a full performance! I'm bummed Sydney was not available for a steal; her voice is so unique. Brayden's voice is quite thin, I worry he'll easily get bandzilla'd during Lives. Despite having the teen boy/country advantage, I think he needs to pull out a breakout performance performance to get into the Top 12.

Just watched the leak. Caroline Pennell's version remains my favorite, but bodie and Jaeden did great! It's interesting how the two times As Long As You Love Me has been done on the show, they were both sung during battle rounds where one artist has a breathy voice and the other has a sharper tone.

Despite the curveball panel, I'm actually looking forward to this season! With Niall and Chance coming in, that may mean they've casted for hip-hop/rap and folk artists, which are two of the more underrepresented genres on the show. I'm especially excited to see fusion artists (hip-hop/country anyone? Not necessarily like Sam Hunt , but I expect to see at least one of his songs to be sung). I think they're also trying to pull in a younger audience; many 1D fans were in middle/high school at the peak of 1D's fame, and those fans would be in their early-mid 20's now, which is a demo that rarely watches or wins the show.

Geolock strikes again, thank goodness for Twitter. Loved Bodie's audition! I've been waiting forever for You Found Me to be done on the show, and for more alternative music in general. My pre-season faves are delivering and I love to see it.

Finally watched this week's auditions. Parijita slayed! Definitely my favorite audition of the season so far. Regarding John's frontrunner, I have a feeling TPTB wasn't sure who to push, since they all (except Kim at this moment) got relatively favorable episode placements; i.e. Omar in the premiere/promos, Parijita being a leak/closer, and Sasha being the only person to make lives in the episode she was in (although I'm a bit iffy on her episode placement, since TPTB placed her immediately before Morgan T., a 4 chair closer on John's team). Kim is likely going to be a leak/opener/closer next week as well.

Finally got to watch all of Tuesday's auditions! Bryce's was my favorite, his tone is amazing. I'm hoping his upper range sounds as resonant as it did during his Blinds once Lives start, 'cause his voice sounded a bit stretched thin in some high notes. I also loved Kevin's audition! He looks so comfortable on stage, I can already imagine how dynamic his Lives performances will be.

Loved Alyssa's tone and song choice! As others have said, the middle of the performance wasn't as strong as the beginning or end, but it was a good performance overall. Also, teenagers on the show have shown to have a steep growth arc (Hailey Mia, Brennley Brown for example) and for Alyssa to reach the Top 16 of a 56-person season, I'm sure she will too.
