  1. I'm thinking Team John Nathan Bryan Zoe Team D+S Karen Madison Tae Team Chance Maddi Serenity RLETTO Team Reba Josh Asher L. / The twins
  2. Speaking of bodie, I could see Maddi doing golden hour by JVKE. It's got the rap parts and a belty chorus which she could absolutely slay.
  3. A little underwhelmed by both performances. Maddi did well for the song she was given, but I can't help but remember Kalvin's version of it and the flow he incorporated into the song. I hoped Kamalei would bring more, considering All of Me is so overdone on singing shows, but it was still a decent vocal. As others have said, Maddi needs to sing a slower song next. For artists that get assigned the upbeat songbook, slower songs tend to be breakout moments, like Christina Grimmie with I Won't Give Up and Michelle Chamuel with True Colors. If RLETTO hadn't been thought to sing Stay by Rihanna this week, I think Maddi would do well with it. I'd actually love for Maddi to do Breakeven, as a callback to her viral Youtube fame and that it's generally a good slow song that tends to be vote-bait.
  4. Just saw Dani did Faded (and apparently flopped? ). Anya doing an Aurora song, maybe I have to stan.
  5. Damn, Frank and Dani out . Although I already had a feeling Dani didn't make the Top 12 because she released her studio recording of her blind audition, which makes me think Maddi made Top 12 if she says she cant release any music (yes, I am giving MJ hope). Hopefully Zoe undergoes some form of divine transcendence and absolutely slays her knockouts (so I can delude myself into thinking she can get to Top 12) cause her and L. are my only remaining snowflakes.
  6. Wow that was one of the best knockouts in a loooong time. Asher is just too good. That run on "tears"? The scat run? Immaculate. Tae did so well too! I love his tone when he belts and the runs are clean. Asher won hands down, but I think this is going to be a Chloe Kohanski situation and Reba chooses Tae over Asher.
  7. Whew, this is the wrong week for Lila to have her worst performances. I've enjoyed her overall run though. Jacquie killed it! It's a shame she probably will end up 4th or 5th. I didn't like some of the song arrangements; some of them did not set up the contestants for a finale moment whatsoever. Hoping for a Huntley win, but I wouldn't mind Mara pulling a Gina Miles.
  8. I really thought Lila was hanging on by a thread last week, so I'm so happy she made the finale. Considering she was a battle montage and had middling social media stats throughout the competition, the PV was a nice surprise. I underestimated the advantage of being the only artist left in a specific lane; the indie girls are so hit or miss with the audience, but I think Lila's ability to crossover into country/folk gives her a higher minivan appeal than previous indie artists.
  9. This season is insane. Everyone did so well, like there could be any combination of the Top 5 out of everyone left and I'd be fine with it. I'm just glad to be able to watch great performances and discover new artists through the show. Good luck to all the contestants tomorrow/later tonight!
  10. Weird song choices, but I agree that Tanner's fit the most. I love his tone, but I kinda wish he held out some of the notes. Those high notes were strained and some of them would have led to cracking had he not cut the notes short. I do see him getting a massive growth arc though and I look forward to seeing his next performances. Chechi There were some parts that were really good, but the combination of that unstable lower falsetto range and the sometimes shrill chest/mixed belts made the performance a bit bumpy. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed her performance and I really hoped she would get saved or stolen as I believe she would have done phenomenal with better song choices. Rudi kinda ate her performance. I personally would have not picked that song because I feel it didn't show off much of her voice. Surprisingly thin falsetto, but what she lacks in range she makes up with fantastic stage presence. Having "this b***h" uncensored + John's reaction was amusing to watch though, and overall I vibed with her performance.
  11. Oh my god, a Chloe x Halle song! Hoping to hear Ungodly Hour next. I got my wish with Everything I Wanted too, and Alexa and LVNDR slayed.
  12. Probably when the party's over or idontwannabeyouanymore. Although I'd love to hear another rendition of Everything I Wanted; Libianca's was amazing and I think it would also fit Alexa and LVNDR
  13. Wow, wow, wow Huntley! Niall's team is amazing this season (and so is John's, his Knockouts team is like 90% 4-chair turners). I don't think I've been this excited to watch a season since S13. So many indie and rock voices, I would have thought casting took a peek at my snowflakes list and decided to cast specifically for my enjoyment lol
  14. I never know with Weirdoo lmao
  15. Wow seeing all these old idf users returning is a blast! I will never forget Weirdoo unironically stanning Lynnea Moorer and all of us being gagged when she performed Wolves and survived the instant save
  16. Interesting play-offs results. Bummed about Kaylee, Alexa, and Noah, but I'm glad Lila made it through! John being a semi-reliable coach for indie females was not something I'd have expected when he joined the show, whether it be taking them to the Lives or using a steal on them.
  17. Caught up with all the auditions so far. Kaylee was so good! Reid might become the first battle eliminee I put on my sig, and now I'm even more sad he had to go against Noah because I also enjoyed Noah's audition. Love love love Chechi's light tone. I hope she delivers a great performance in the KO's despite being eliminated!
  18. I haven't thoroughly checked any other names since the initial cast drop, but I'm bummed Reid didn't go through. Excited to see Lila advance though, and it seems I might find a country snowflake this season based on some of the singing clips being posted.
  19. My Immortal, finally! Gwen usually has good battle rounds so I'm excited to watch her team the most. As per our mystery contestant on IDF, I'm amused at how their username could reference back to us asking Karli Webster on S13 to blink twice if she won her knockouts lol
  20. I have yet to check out the list of names, but I think this is the first time I've heard of someone pre-The Voice with Jonah Baker. I've watched a bunch of his covers and especially loved his collabs with Addison, so hopefully he turned a chair.
  21. I love Gwen seasons because they cast artists like #3. He kinda sounds like a more vocally-mature Ryley Tate. #1's voice is amazing! The breathiness + smooth runs reminds me a bit of MaKenzie Thomas. #2 and #4 are great too. Can't wait to see them all on the show
  22. I've never watched the show for the coaches as I usually care more for their music rather than their personalities, but I'm worried the casting pool is not going to be as diverse as previous seasons. Fingers crossed for some pop/indie/rock artists to be casted!
  23. Hello S24! A lot of my favorite types of voices tend to appear in seasons Gwen is in, so I'm looking forward to seeing the auditionees. I'm glad Gina won S23, but that probably means the indie pop artists might not get pimped as much considering Niall's Top 2 were basically from the same genre (which I was so excited for, love love love Ryley and Gina). Now that Gwen is back, I hope the general public supports her artists enough that she gets represented in the finale. I'd especially love to see her or any of the coaches take an alt rocker or an alt rnb artist to the finale.
