I can't help but think we're getting 3 way knockouts again with how this season is going. 

There was some previous discussion where due to the # of knockout tapings the format is probably different, with the coaches having all contestants perform and then choosing 4-5/9 to move on, but I don't think that would make sense considering that's just the format of the pre-taped playoffs with more contestants.

Personally I don't think it would make sense to use this format with the 9 contestants per team in KOs, only to use it again with the hypothetical 4/5 that move on and cut it down again using the same format, considering we're getting pre-taped playoffs again.

My guess is 3way knockouts with 3 winners per team and 1 or 2 steals per coach, and then the 4-5 contestants that make it to playoffs are cut down to 3 per team (considering this is a fall season, I don't see the need to go to a top 8 for the lives like they did in season 23)

I really hope she goes far (she is a four chair turn, but this show is always full of surprises )

I'm really intrigued by her ofc, but I think for me the lack of spoilers/feedback (like we were lucky to have in past seasons) has made it harder for me to feel invested. I imagine others can relate. I'm sure engagement/fan lists here will start to go up once the show starts to air or we get more info to go off of.

Lila, Nini, and Elizabeth are the likely/confirmed contestants to have made it to battles that I'm really hoping to see in the knockouts tho, and I know I'll be more invested in their runs as they start to air on TV.

I just know Nini is gonna devour her battle today/tomorrow/whenever it's happening

obsessed with Elizabeth Evans so im happy it seems like she's in based on her story

3 way knockouts + not uploading the losers really made this season unmemorable for me, even though I had MANY contestants I was rlly excited about

I will say Morgan Taylor's KO is criminally underrated. It's probably in my top 5

All jokes aside, I kind of agree with this. Dana is someone that looking back I thought was objectively good, and should've made it further than she did, but I don0t think I enjoy her performances enough to go back to rewatch them. I will still praise her in any conversation surrounding her bcs she's phenomenal but I gravitated way more to other contestant in her genre and even other contestants in her own season.

If Reba/Niall/John becomes the new Blake/Kelly (in terms of permanence), I think they’ll rotate either a coach who’s either female pop or has rock influence. Kelly I think covered those areas in the past seasons, but now we have 3 coaches that are very set in their respective genre of music. I think the remaining coach needs to be different enough or also do pop (since we’ve previously had 2 pop/pop-adjacent coaches in the panel before)

I don’t think it’s something you can just spill on this thread. Even though it’s a gossip thread, it has its limits. Hence why I don’t think people who are aware have mentioned anything about it.

It's so easy for the producers to do a quick background search and yet they fail to do that and continue to give a platform to people like him. As simple as that yet they can't manage to grasp it.

My snowflakes are typically in the indie pop or soulful powerhouse pop genres (clock the sig). When it comes to female country singers, I typically support and enjoy them but I wouldn't call them my #1 choice to win the season. Gracee was my #1 snowflake in season 17 tho (along with Rose) so that's the most distinct exception I can think of tbh. 

I also am not super drawn to male teenagers on the show, but I was fully rooting for Ryley Tate and he gave some of my favorite performances of the season with his blind and playoff performances

Haven't really checked her out ngl  I'm not huge on American Idol unless some of my voice faves get on there (Allegra, Wé, even watched Kenedi Anderson's run because I found her audition sick). I have no doubt Megan sounds even better now but I just could never get into her tone at all. Now that I look back I didn't really enjoy any of her individual performances on The Voice ngl...sorry bestie
