Against All Odds is, on paper, a very audience friendly song choice, but I really don't think it's suited for Bryan. I don't think Bryan is the type of artist that is going to get votes doing these types of mellow ballads

I think we're looking at either Karen or Madison closing considering song choices. If Madison closes, she'll 100% make the finale and probably be at least in the top 3. If Karen closes, this season is pretty much a wrap

If Madison closes she'll probably be ahead of him for me though, but still I like his chances better than Nathan's regardless

Ultimately it just depends on how the performance goes, he can totally bomb and be completely out of the running for the PV, or he could perform very well & get a good slot in the episode (closing the episode or at least going right before the closer) & be my second frontrunner behind Karen. Any Beyonce song is going to be a challenge for anyone but if he nails it I think this could be a bigger moment for him than people think.

I feel Asher has better PV odds than Madison and Nathan tbh

I don't get why people think this is a bad song for Asher, as far as Beyonce songs go Irreplacable is one of the better ones for a singing show. Not too fast, not too wordy, & there's opportunity for some big moments in the bridge & the chorus. I could see Asher doing great tonight

Karen definitely got the best choice here, followed by Madison/Josh/Tae/Asher in whatever order

If they want an Asher victory, a pimp spot with a good song could seal the deal. I think Madison needs it the most out of the finale contenders in order to win, but if she’s going upbeat, I don’t see it them giving it to her.

 

Gun to my head, I’d say it’s probably between Asher and Serenity.

I could definitely see Serenity getting the pimp spot but if I had to guess if it's someone on Team Chance I'd predict it being Maddi honestly. I'm also thinking it'll be one of Asher/Serenity/Maddi

IMO if it's really one of Asher/Josh closing whoever the closer is becomes the clear frontrunner going forward (same with Karen to an extent)

See I considered that being the reason but also he literally lost every other vote in both seasons. In season 18-20 they did the thing where the IS considered of 1 artist on every team and in the 4 instant saves Nick participated in, his artist lost every single one of them, even when his artist got the pimp spot in one of them. Michael winning the 4 way KO in S18 was not super shocking because Michael/Samantha were the only ones that didn't bomb. On the contrary, Devan was one of if not the only person to perform badly in his 4 way KO pairing and yet by some miracle he won

I can see why someone would say that S7's Top 5 was the worst (it's probably a candidate for second worst of all time) and yeah, not really a big fan of the season when it aired. But i disagree on Matt, he was my favorite and probably my first snowflake ever (one of the few times where my snowflake was a male contestant). And i think somehow all contestants on the Top 5 got their moments to shine through the competition, even if i was not a fan of most of them.

Matt is actually the only one I didn't dislike in that top 5 (I thought he was just okay though)

S19's Final 5 was also pretty bad but I think I liked DeSz & Carter more than anyone in Season 7's and there also isn't anybody I dislike in S19's final 5 more than I disliked Chris & Taylor. Season 7 was just awful, that top 5 doesn't even include Ryan, Sugar, & Reagan, who are 3 of the worst singers I've ever seen make the lives

Just saw a video of Matt McAndrew pop up on my YouTube home page & started thinking about just how miserable season 7 was. I don't think I've ever cared less about a cast than I cared about nearly the entire top 12 from that season

A Craig/Matt/Chris/Damien/Taylor top 5 has to be the worst Top 5 in the history of the show, right? I remember being completely checked out after like the first week of lives

The week during S20 where everyone was arguing whether Savanna or Carolina would win the 4 way KO and then Devan won it 

It’s unrealistic & definitely not happening this season (especially if Kelsea is a coach) but I’d do anything to have Kacey Musgraves be a coach
