Was tricky to compare The Voice's autotuned pre-taped performances against Idol's live performances but now that we've seen the first live show for The Voice I think the Idol cast is stronger than The Voice cast this year overall, however I do slightly prefer The Voice Top 8 over the Idol Top 8. The one good thing about The Voice's format this year is not letting America vote until as late as possible. Imagine how great Idol could've been this season if they'd kept the same elimination format but all the decisions were made by the judges until the top 8. (Not that the coaches/judges on either show make good choices all the time but at least they don't tend to be consistently biased like the voting public is biased towards white male country singers etc.)

Disappointing episode - everyone except Grace and D. Smooth gave their worst performance to date imo.

1. Grace - Fantastic, her best performance yet.

2. Holly - Not her best but still really good, confused as how to she didn't make the finale. A country singer with a popular coach who sang really well... one of the most surprising results in a while for me.

3. D. Smooth - Good but his runs were a little stilted, still waiting for him to live up to his amazing battle.

4. Gina - Solid but  felt a bit choppy. Her tone is still gorgeous.

5. Ryley - He was my favourite coming into this round but this was just not a good song choice for his voice and he looked awkward on stage.

6. NOIVAS - Some good parts, some messy parts.

7. Ray - I like his tone a lot but this was weak and had pitch issues.

8. Sorelle - Some good parts in the first half but most of the second half was quite painful to listen to. Sad because I liked their pre-taped performances but I'm guessing autotune did a lot of the heavy lifting. Pretty perplexed as to how they made the finale but hoping they prove me wrong next week.

As I said in my post which you deleted, there's no evidence to suggest that it was faked. The screenshot showed that the post was set to be only viewable by her FB friends, so unless you're friends with Blake's mother on FB I'm not sure where this idea of it being faked is coming from?  Deleting all the NOIVAS stuff was a fair call but not if you're going to add your own unfounded accusation at the end... 

Season 19 is easily the best even including Caleb, and even moreso if you count Hunter as being in 5th place (given that Caleb was dq'd before the top 5 round)

You can see the friends icon in the screenshot meaning she used the option to make the post visible only to her FB friends. Presumably NOIVAS is friends with her on FB. The idea of a contestant faking a post by their coach's mother is pretty ridiculous as far as conspiracy theories go.

Haven being in my top half despite being my least favourite girl in the Top 26 made me truly realise how tragic the results have been this season  4-8 would probably make up 5 of my bottom 6 of the Top 26 along with PJAE 

Maybe it's recency bias but Kala's MFV might be my favourite performance ever on The Voice (definitely at least top 5) so the rating is well-deserved imo.
