Tell Me You Love Me and Drivers Licence were both pretty rough vocally but aside from that she's been good. I'm kind of surprised that America keeps voting her through but I'm not mad about it at all.

I don't usually like male country singers but somehow I like all the male country singers this season (Cameron/Dan/Noah/Mike)... in fact they might even be my four favourite male country singers ever on Idol. I love Mike's voice and he's grown on me a ton the last couple of weeks. I really respect and appreciate Noah's willingness to take risks instead of just singing a different country song every week. Dan had a couple of iffy performances but his tone is lovely. And I enjoy Cameron's energy on stage, and his upper register is so good especially in songs like Changes.

On the other hand I find Huntergirl pretty overrated although she's starting to grow on me a bit.

I mean even if that had happened (which I think is pretty unlikely) and it'd been 6 females and 5 males in the top 11, that'd still be a higher % of males making the top 11 (5 out of 10 aka 50%) compared to females (6 out of 13 aka 46%).

6 to 5 would be a narrow margin if there were equal numbers of males and females to begin with but that's not what happened.

It just so happens, by luck, that the vote that mattered was the one where the guys won (tonight) and by *judges choice* that 3 guys were saved. This is not like the last few seasons where girls get cut without fail every time

I mean at the end of the day I think most people would agree that that the female cast this season is significantly stronger than the males, and yet there's still more males than females in the top 11. Ava and Allegra have been consistently good throughout the season and still got voted out in favour of weak and inconsistent males.  If it was just this season that this sort of thing happened then maybe it could be put down to random chance, but like you said it happens every season... it's not like the voters suddenly stopped being sexist this season lol.

Yeah but all the male wildcards still made it past the next round of voting. If the judges had done 2 male and 2 female wildcards then I'm 90% sure that the other female wildcard would've been eliminated tonight instead of Dan... I can't see Katyrah, Sage, Cadence or Elli having much of a shot of making the top 11. So it would've most likely still been 6 males and 5 females in the top 11.

I mean, when the voting rounds started there were 10 males and 13 females (excluding Kenedi), and now there are 6 males and 5 females. That means 60% of males still remain compared to only 38% of females. Doesn't seem that fairly behaved to me

It's not just the Dan thing... the user also claimed that Cameron was 11th, Jacob 12th and Cadence was 13th in the votes. Those three were all near the bottom with Facebook reactions which are nearly always at least approximately accurate. I find it very difficult to believe that any of those three, especially Cadence, beat people like Mike and Jay in the votes. In fact I'd be surprised if Cadence beat anyone in the votes other than possibly Katyrah or Elli. And I didn't wanna say it but it seems kinda suspicious considering that user created Cameron's fan thread and also posted a lot in Jacob and Cadence's fan threads and now they're using those 'stats' as evidence that they were robbed from making the top 14.

She was eliminated early, that’s what I said. She lasted two weeks and the first week she had to be saved. Being on the Covid season probably didn’t mess with her chances too much. It should’ve helped her, honestly, because she’s an artist who performs stripped down songs that don’t require a big stage. Allegra is very talented but I think we need to stop making excuses that she was on the Covid season of The Voice or she didn’t get much airtime on American Idol. Something about her just doesn’t connect with the majority of people who watch these types of shows. I don’t think there’s anything she could do to change that. 

Both weeks she was competing for one public vote against a popular frontrunner (Thunderstorm) so I don't think you can really say anything about her popularity based off her time on The Voice
