That was amazing. She handled that song much better than I thought she would (apart of that was she kept in her comfort range which was smart) I remember thinking my immortal > bring me to life a couple weeks ago, but my immortal would have just been similar to the performances she has already been doing. This allowed her to show a different side of herself. 

It was hard to follow that song. Felt like three separate songs in one. Idk...

Lol she is always shouty. She need Shania to reign her in again. It was the perfect song on paper, but the execution was very meh.

Yeah my prediction is based on my suspicion that she is near the bottom in terms of votes, although McKenna, Julia, and Jack are also in a vulnerable spot. They wouldn't save her over julia or McKenna. Maybe against Jack but even that is doubtful.

Yeah I should have been clear, but I would not want to be at their mercy if I was her. She is the only one I can't picture them saving so her best bet is to make it through on votes.

With the judges deciding tomorrow's elimination, I would say probably Emmy leaving

Abi picks killer songs that are great on paper, but them I'm left feeling whelmed...I realize I am in the minority though. Once again, it wasn't bad, but I thought it would be better.

She's obviously not going home tonight, but weak performances on shorter seasons rear their ugly head a week or two done the line. You need to be gaining momentum every week.

Two steps back for Mckenna. That was a struggle. I don't know why she insist on trying to belt.

It honestly wouldn't be that shocking. The new era of idol is so short and the cuts week to week are so massive that it is hard to parse out where people stand outside of like 2-3 of them. It would be kind of silly to be shocked by a pre-top 5 booth from anyone other than maybe Abi, Will, and Triston.  During old Idol, there were much longer seasons and it was usually the same contestants in the bottom each week so you had an idea of everyone's place in the competition. Mckenna could be high up there in votes or she could've barely scrapped by into the top 10. It's hard to tell. I will say it isn't lost on me that they stuck her at the end of both voting nights so someone is pulling for her BTS.

As for her voice, I thought it was at risk of tiring out during hollywood week, but I think I've settled with that's just the natural quality of her voice. It is kind of a mix of Elise Testone and Laci Kaye Booth. I just need more Elise and less Laci, whose voice and vocals did become concerning by the end of her run. I think she just needs to stick to songs like "Both Sides Now" and avoid "The Story." Unpopular opinion, but she had no business singing that song. 

I see like a top 7/top 8 ceiling for her tbh. I could also be totally off.

Julia had a great audition. But I'm not really sure what's been going on with her after that. She has potential to be great but... something is off.

She has a big voice, but she lacks control. I don't think she has had one performance, including her audition, that didn't go off the rails at some point.

Really, I don't see that going well for her at all. She would nail "My Immortal" though. That seems more in her wheelhouse. 

Something was off when she got to the belting, but can't put my finger on it. She got it back towards the end.
