  1. I don’t have a problem with your rankings tbh. Parvati’s best moment in S13 was her naked in the hot tub with Yul and Ozzy, but besides that she’s not that great until Micronesia.

Cao-Boi is a fun pre-merger but I would definitely not have him that high. He got kinda annoying really fast and I was okay when he left. I do know a lot of people enjoy him though.

Penner’s best season imo is Cook Islands so I agree that he is great here. His leading the mutiny is definitely the most iconic part of S13 besides the Billy/Candice romance lmao

Yul is definitely the best this season. Ozzy is good here but I like his iteration in Micronesia slightly more for different reasons.

Becky, Candice, Adam, Sundra, and Nate are all meh. Everyone else I can’t really remember enough about.

  2. The Last Song (2010)

It's kind of a bummer that this movie ended up sucking because it starred two really charismatic people who ended up being in a high-profile on-and-off-again relationship over the next decade...I mean, talk about chemistry. But all the chemistry in the world couldn't make up for this drivel-filled movie. The Last Song is a movie based off Nicholas Sparks' novel that literally came out the year before in 2009. It tells the "story" of Ronnie, a troubled teen who spends the summer with her estranged father in a Georgia beach town, where she falls in love with an Australian volleyball player named Liam. :P Literally look at the plot on Wikipedia, it's the most stereotypical romantic comedy you can possibly imagine. The movie somehow grossed $89 million against its $20 million budget which means it was a box office success. Bye for now!

Funnily enough, I just watch The Spy Who Dumped Me for the first time two weeks ago. I wanted it to end twenty minutes in to the movie.

Kate McKinnon just does it for me, no matter what she’s doing

  4. Aras is one of the most attractive players ever imo. I’d have Danielle and Aras higher than Bruce and especially Terry. Enjoyed your commentary (I’m not in love with Panama but I’ve only seen it once in a rush so I will need to rewatch it, clearly there are some passionate stans in this thread lol)

  5. Fast And Furious 6 (2013)

Changed my mind! Omg, I didn't even realize this was an option so this is an easy cut for me. I hate this franchise, lol. Another blatant cash grab franchise... Anyways, Fast and Furious 6 is one of the 27 F&F movies released this decade. It stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker in his second to last Fast movie, Michelle Rodriguez, and The Rock, among others. The premise of this movie is about the aftermath of the gang's successful heist in Rio prior that had left them rich but basically fugitives, all living in different parts of the world in hiding. The Rock plays Agent Hobbs who promises everyone a pardon if they help him track down even more evil mercenary drivers. Fun stuff. Sorry if anyone is fan.

Saving: Alice In Wonderland, because even though it was kind of a disappointment, the original is iconic and this list of movies is really not that great.

Oh for sure! I definitely respect her as a winner because the show is always in favor of men - particularly white men. I just think my issue with the format of Survivor, but also what makes it very interesting is that playing the game super hard is often frowned upon in the end.

At least in the three seasons I just binged, two of the winners were super lackluster and kind of floated along to the end. Just from my perception. I think I am more inclined to respect or support the player that really busted ass the entire time. That is why, despite finding him very boring as a person, I really respected Tom's win. I will always value a woman winning over a man, but he really controlled the game like a pro and beasted enough in competitions to keep his name out of the pool of contenders when necessary. I think he got lucky enough to have a group of jury members that respected his approach.

Well the earlier seasons relied on the social aspect of the game which is why many of the winners before like, season 15 or so weren’t the biggest or most memorable characters. Then we had seasons like Micronesia that thrived because of blindsides and ~*~big moves~*~ which became even more prevalent in the 20s. So it kind of went from being mostly a social game to being about who can impress the jury the most. That’s why a lot of the older winners are forgettable or underwhelming. But I like really social winners because I find them charismatic and that’s more impressive than playing an idol, lol.

Definitely is badass. Just does not make for good television? Obviously this makes her a super intelligent game player, but me thinks that she still skated by a bit too much for me to be trilled by her in any way. She did steer clear of drama and I think her playing up the sweetheart role was a good choice, since Stephenie was obliviously doing the opposite the whole time. But even her calling out Gary did nothing, considering Amy was the only other player to really even address the possibility?

While it was smart of her to not cause waves, which kept her around longer than the other guys in her minority alliance, I think that challenge advantage literally handed her the win. Feels a bit lackluster in the end.

Idk. Any woman that wins Survivor has my respect and I will probably like her more than I should, because it is SO tough for a woman to win for whatever reason. So that might be why I like people like Danni, Jenna Morasca, Natalie White, etc more than I should because it’s just impressive that they are winners :haha:

This is very interesting to hear. I am assuming she went on record at some point and admitted to this?

Yeah, it’s definitely common knowledge that this is the case, and I think it’s kind of badass that she did so. I know Danni isn’t the most exciting winner but her gameplay was very impressive. She was really good at staying out of the drama while still stirring things up and putting the target on other people (see: her calling out Gary as a famous athlete). It’s too bad she was an epic fail in WAW, although I kinda think her alliance probably did a pretty bad job at keeping her in the loop.

I was going to ask why New Moon wasn't nominated but then I realized it's not from the 2010's. If I had to choose a favorite it would be New Moon.

Trust and believe, if I had the choice it would have been up there

  10. Have at it!
