After the callbacks they will keep the same thing, wich sucks, but at least it didn't got worse lol There will be 3 battles in each team, but only one battle winner will go straight through to the semi finals, the other 2 will have to compete in a sing off for the other spot. To me that really sucks, cause it's terrible that someone wins their battles and still is sent home.

I read the explanation of the format on the promotion material from channel 7, and the format this year won't be worse than last year. Actually it will be basically the same thing, the only change being on the callbacks, and it's actually better. The callbacks will be the same as the Showdowns on season 3. The 12 team members will be separated in 4 trios, and in each trio, after singing, one goes home, one goes straight through to the battles, and the other gets to sing again on the Ultimate Callback. The 4 contestants on the Ultimate will fight for the last 2 spots on the battles. Last year was much worse, the whole thing was decided in one episode, and there were no rules for the coaches to choose the 6 going to the battles. There were some contestants that we couldn't even hear them singing another song.

I actually found something much better: Channel 7 divulgation material with the contestants photos, names and description. I don't think the whole cast is in there tho, cause I already noticed some contestants who confirmed they participation and are not there, like the All-star Shyjana and the Drag Queen Brenda Bressed who was even spotted on a sneak peek. Furthermore, there is only 51 acts on those images, and there will be 48 chair turners plus all the no chairs.

Since the show moved to Channel 7 they don't have the All-stars twist anymore, but last year they had a good amount of returnee constestants (Thando Sikwila, Jael Wena, Ethan Conway, Chloe Kandetzki, Chriddy Black), they just didn't called them All-stars. Maybe they don't use the term cause it was a Channel Nine thing lol but I use to love seeing some artists back, so I hope we have it back this year. Seeing the artists who already confirmed they participation I'm not sure, but I think Shyjana is the same who competed on season 4 when she was just 16. Back then she made a great audition and secured the last spot on team Jessie J, but lost her battle against the winner of the season Ellie Drennan.

Until this point I'm not liking that much the soundtrack of the season. Chain of fools and Jealous are such a cliche songs to sing on an audition.

OMGGGGG FINALLY

yeah I'm also not hopeful to see the premiere coming on early August. On 2021 it started on August because of the Olympic games. This year, Australia and New Zealand will host Women's World Cup, and Channel 7 will broadcast most of the games, so there's a possibility that The Voice starts only after this event, wich ends on August 20 (Personally I'm almost sure of that). Maybe the next weekend after that would be a good guess, wich would be August 27. Anyway, I think they will announce the date on the TV Week Logie Awards, on July 30, so let's wait for that.

I don't think they would do it, but I would love it, more amazing auditions to watch It would be much better if they concentrate the effort on doing one longer and well produced season though LOL

Usually they announce the opening of the applications for a new season, in the Grand Finale of the current one.

Yeah, that's probably what happend, but keep it up and sign up for next year, hopefully it will work out. I don't think season 13 it's on risk. Season 11 had better ratings than season 10, and both are better than the ratings on channel 9. The format back then was really better, but people still watch it tho. And if anything happens, channel 9 will still be interested on taking it back lol

Considering the shootings of the show it is very likely to be the same format as last year. Maybe the callbacks will be a little longer since they took it 3 days to shoot it.

They hired Jason Derulo, by the way he was yesterday on Australia shooting the Semifinals of the show (next week they will shoot the Grand Final, and it's done, since for the last 3 years there's no more live shows). No way they would spent all that resources and then cancel the show. And why they would still be shooting the show if it was cancelled?

That's because as you said, applications for this season were closed last year. MyCasting always keep their form open, however only the applications sent in time are considered for that specific selection.

Good evening everyone. I've been searching for a while for episodes of The voice of Holland. They took everything out of the internet after the problems that happend there. It used to be one of my favorites versions of the show, so I just wanted to save the content from extinction lol I found full season 10, but that's it, so if everyone knows where to find anything from any other seasons please let me know

well, now it's available the tickets for all the rounds after the Blinds, and yeah they are keeping the exact same format from last year The dates they are shooting the show are: May 13 - Callback 1 May 14 - Callback 2 May 25 - Ultimate Callback Jun 04 - Battle 1 Jun 05 - Battle 2 Jun 15 - Semifinal Jun 22 - Grand Final At least, with 3 days of shootings for the callbacks, it can mean that they are doing something bigger than one episode with everyone compiled all at once. It will probably be something like the knockouts used to be on channel 9. If they are really going to promote the season only after everything is recorded, we have an estimated date. The show is probably going to start on July or August.

Hey everyone, I forgot that I could look at the ticket registrations to see updates about the phases on the new season. I just looked at it now and I saw that next May 13th they are recording a phase called “The voice Callback 1”. I guess that’s bad news, cause it could means that they’re keeping the awful format from last year with those callbacks cutting half the cast right after the Blinds. For a second I thought that maybe they already recorded another phase between those, since they recorded the Blinds like a month before those callbacks and I didn’t looked at the tickets registration before. But I guess I’m being too positive, right? I think we would’ve seen some images of the shootings if that was the case

That also means the new season will take a long time to start airing. I would guess we won't see it on May, and maybe not even on June.
