The Hollywood Junket article mentioned something about "Meghan" and "Anthony" for Chance and Reba, respectively, I think?

Was thinking Trainor (Ms. Thee Stallion is probably too busy) and no clue about which Anthony it would've been for Reba.

Maybe Marc Anthony? Huge name in the hispanic music world with decades of experience, and since we have Maluma…

And he’s JLo’s ex so (bare with me) maybe her photo being on the mega mentor teaser poster was a hint at this

  2. Ok I stopped watching the show after the blinds but had emerge from the shadows to comment on these mentors bc wth??

Maluma is a very odd choice for Team Legend given his lack of vocal capabilities, and honestly I didn’t even know he was big in the US. However he was a coach on The Voice and The Voice Kids in Mexico and Colombia (and even winning two of his seasons) so maybe he knows what he’s talking about.

And Saweetie… I only know her for the “let’s go meme” and the feat she did on one of Gwen’s songs so no comment fot her (although she’s an odd choice for D+S)

So that means Reba and Chance don’t have advisors?

Dan and Shay might be the only non-A lister coach in recent years (they are very talented but shocked to be taking a coaching slot once seated by Christina/Alicia/Miley/Ariana)

    ..... so disappointing

I wonder how they'll convince artists to be on their team ....

I think that’s my issue. I’m not denying their talent and maybe they’ll suprise us next year. But it is weird to see them on a show that has had worldwide stars (Shakira, Miley, Christina, Ariana, Gwen, Alicia)

seating on those chairs. They might be too local to certain parts of the US for me.

This lineup is disappointing because of how unbalanced it is. No pure pop, rock, indie, or alternative coaches.

Remember though that Chance is a rapper whereas John is R&B/soul. They’re not the same.

I hope we get some interesting artists this season.

Chance may be a rapper, but if they don’t cast rappers on the show, then they would fill literally the same lane. We saw that last season, he even had similiar pitches to John’s.

Posting it is probably also unauthorized. Its been a while since I checked this out, when it was posted in his fan thread. It’s actually a decent recording. I won’t post my theories of how he got the recording. Use your imagination. :P Here it is in case anyone is really bored. He sang it well. However, the sources definitely overstated Blake being upset about being blocked. He hardly even talked…basically what we saw aired. Chance and Niall did most of the talking.

Soo the chairs don’t make any sound when they turn around? Is it all added in post?

  6. The general public is not impressed by the lineup or the show in general. Pop Crave tweeted the coach lineup and almost all of the replies are either calling them flops or khias (whatever that means), also mentioning that the show is on decline or even surprised that it’s still going.

This basically confirma what we all new: The Voice has become a show for a very nieche audience.

Idk why I have this feeling that the coaching panel is goin to be like this

    John-Gwen-male pop star-Reba

John is almost a given, Gwen cancelling concerts close to filming is sus, male pop star could be Niall or someone new like Charlie Puth or Ryan Tedder, and Reba is also almost a given.

    Thoughts?

    What did I say????!

    I’m oficially a psychic 🔮
