The fact that in the fox era, someone could be completely safe one week (not in B3) and then the lowest vote-getter the next makes me think anything is possible with certain contestants lol. The only people who I’d 100% bet won’t go anywhere before top 5/3 are Noah and HG

That person was never gonna win IMO. It’s gonna come down to #1 and #2 (and always was). Those two would have to reallyyyyy mess up not to make the finale IMO. 

I was thinking today how cool it would be to have a Canadian winner, and how maybe it would open idol/TPTB up to doing a Toronto audition stop next year/moving forward. We deserve something here in Canada, we really don’t have any singing shows people can easily try out for lol. Plus Nicolina is a queen and deserves the W

Also, in the genre duets - she and Cole were told that only one of them made it.  She was ecstatic for herself - while ignoring the fact that he just got cut.

 

 

She can play guitar, there are videos online of her doing that lol. Idk why she didn’t on the show. I do agree that she wasn’t ready. But that doesn’t discount the fact that people were probably hating on her because she was beautiful and had a “famous”/well off family. Reddit comes to mind, they dragged her every week and the hate was so OTT and it was obvious that it went far beyond the fact that she wasn’t performing that well. 
 

on another note... I would love to see Nicolina sing some Celine this week. She has a tiktok of herself doing “it’s all coming back to me now” and she sounds fantastic.

That wasn't bad at all. She would've been much better off with that arrangement instead of what she went with on the show. Also, I think the pressure of the competition got to her because she was much more relaxed in the video posted.

HunterGirl is unoriginal and not marketable. I can think of many country singers who have been on idol before her who were way better but had way less hype. Skylar Laine from S11 comes to mind. She’s gonna be a massive flop winner if she ends up winning. 

Lady K had my second favourite audition of the season but hasn’t impressed me since.

Cadence had the best Hawaii performance over everyone in the top 24 and it’s very underrated. 
 

Jay is terrible.

I don’t get the Fritz hype but I can see why people like him. 
 

Nicolina IS that good. And I think people forget she’s only 18. If she was in her early 20s (give her a few more years to develop vocally) she would be a BEAST.
