  1. So there being confirmation for the lives starting May 3rd is kinda confusing...

Assuming we have 3 weeks of blinds, 3 weeks of battles (Monday’s only) and 2 weeks of knockouts (Monday’s only)....that leaves on extra week....which probably means there’ll be a best of the blinds/battles/knockouts....ew

Wouldn´t be the first contestant that is aware of IDF. I think we haven´t talked about her as much honestly. She emotes fantastically well in her covers btw. I can´t see her at the top of Team Legend with both Victor and Deion there (unless he pairs them up), but I´ll be looking forward to hearing her sing. "Pillowtalk" is an interesting choice for her style.

Don’t underestimate her. From what I saw, she was closer to get a 4 chair turn than Victor, not only because of Victor’s coming wayyy before and Kelly being picky, but because by the time Denisha auditioned Nick had very few spots left (that was his main excuse for not turning). She is my favorite from the ones I saw from Team Legend.

Fyi, from what I saw if we had gotten ANY other 4 chair turns, those would’ve probably been Raine and Denisha, considering what the coach that didn’t turn said (Blake for Raine and Nick for Denisha). Plus they were both very late in the tapings

Skylar's audition definitely wasn't shortened. I'm very familiar with the song and she started the way The Weeknd does. 😌

Yes, but there’s also the possibility that it was shortened somewhere in the middle (like Kelsie’s knockout for reference)

that said, if Larriah (who was slightly shortened) had a longer audition than Skylar, then Skylar was definitely shortened (hers lasted about 70 seconds)

Her audition was roughly 90 seconds, just like every other full-length audition on the show 🧐

Again, it wasn’t as shortened as Payton’s, but it was shortened by like 10 seconds or so. Her beginning was cut. Listen to the og song and you’ll see. Plus when it starts you can hear the music had already started, as opposed to other auditions where you he the music starting after the video itself starts

Larriah and Skylar's auditions weren't shortened. The clips were shorter because Gwen/Kelly didn't have to fight with anybody for them. 😉

Larriah’s was. Not sure about Skylar. Listen to the beginning of Larriah’s audition, that’s the pre-chorus. Plus her audition lasts a bit less than 1 minute 20. Hence her audition was cut like 10 seconds or so

Yeah, that’s true. Nerves can be a factor, and you never know who it will affect. An experienced performer like Taryn couldn’t handle the pressure, while 16 year Chevel said she was never once nervous for a performance. Who would ever guess.

Is there anyone here who actually watched the Kenzie performance? I can understand if you don’t want to say on the forum, but I’m curious about his demeanor (did he seem nervous, etc.).

I did! I thought he was great (his genre isn’t my favorite but not everyone gets 3 blocks am I right?)

iirc the coaches were really hyped since it was literally the second blind audition. They had a lot of energy. I think Kenzie even received compliments on him sounding completely secure and the coaches not sensing any nerves? I’d have to watch it again to see if I can sense any nerves from him but he sounded great so yeah

  7. On a sad note, for those of you who don’t know, Pia Renee’s mother passed away earlier in January. (If Pia is reading I send her my deepest condolences and love her way🖤

Obviously this isn’t a topic of discussion but there’s a possibility (I’d say a high one) that Pia didn’t return to film the battles/knockouts. Which would be completely reasonable and what I personally am expecting.

  8. Anyways I’ll start. I think if S19 had the rumored S20 format...Julia, Larriah, Ryan and James would’ve left without a steal in the battles.

Joseph and Sid would’ve been stolen by Gwen and Kelly either way since those were the first two battles. Now, even though John didn’t steal Taryn, I believe the only reason he didn’t do so was because of Blake having his save. That being said, if there were no saves, I can see John stealing Taryn because she was exceptionally great, leading to only Blake having a steal by the fourth battle, which was Lauren vs Paige, and Blake tried to steal Lauren, which would’ve meant they were the last steal. This would’ve left Julia, Larriah, Ryan and James without a steal, meaning they would’ve been robbed lol, which is what I fear if this really is the Season 20 format....

Now Taryn would’ve been paired with Bailey and Lauren would’ve been probably paired with WTW (leaving a Ben vs Ian knockout). John would’ve definitely picked Bailey (whether she would’ve been better or not) and Blake would’ve picked WTW. Lauren would’ve been stolen by Gwen had she been in the same knockout position Gwen was, leaving the results pretty much the same except Lauren instead of Ben in the playoffs, which would’ve been 100000 times better IMO LMAOOO wdyt?

  9. Hey! I wanted to start a What If thread (let me know if there is one I’m pretty new here lol) so anything from:

    - What if x season had this format? (What do you think would’ve happened instead?)

    - What if x coach chose x contestant instead of their battle/knockout partner?

    - What if x contestant didn’t quit/get DQd?

and so on...feel free to post anything like this! I’d love to hear it🤗
