    The Voice could do a better job of making the show a little more contestant friendly that would help their product. Idol really needs to get rid of half of their people though its a huge turn off to watch very meh contestants.

    I havn't watched The voice recently but I think the show itself is more entertaining to watch. Unfortunately it's been the record company that drops the ball on their contestents once the show is over. I just wish Idol would change up their format, it starting to feel cheesey, or maybe it always was and Im just jaded now. lol idk Im still watching 🙂

    Idol HAS to take more marginal singers because they start every season with a much bigger pool.

    They give out about 150 gold tickets, and the judges must see at least 200 people.

     

    Meanwhile, The Voice audition pool is only 90-100 total and only 40-48 get on a team.

    300 went to Hollywood this year.
