I just noticed that Kelly wins every long season the show has have and she doesn't just win with a normal winner. She always makes history with an artist.

 I always root for all Team Kelly contestants. I don't care who wins so long as it's from Team Kelly

The Voice doesn't care about their contestants' post career. They just want a good show. By far, they've been doing good despite the declining ratings. They managed to beat American Idol in the ratings game and has been nominated for Emmys consistently. Meanwhile, American Idol.... i don't know her

It doesn't matter whether they gained significant number of followers after the show. They are still not as successful as past alumni like Kelly, Jennifer, Carrie or from other show's contestants like the members of 1D and Little Mix. Reality singing competitions right now can hardly produce successful artists, they're just for entertainment now. American Idol now really makes me yawn. I prefer The Voice. I enjoy the banter with the coaches and how competitive they get with each other. Entertainment value would go to the voice, hands down

Applies to all reality singing competition nowadays. Well, Americal Idol produced Gabby Barrett. However, the succeeding contestants really didn't make a career out of the competition. Gabby Barrett wasn't also a huge global star like that of Kelly, One Direction, or Carrie Underwood. If you want to make it big, you really have to do it yourself, produce your own music or find a good manager

Probably and with that pastor winning on S18 really made it worse. I don't like Blake turning his artists into country just because they appeal to the voters.

She DOMINATED itunes (which counted as votes at the time) and it wasn’t even close. But Chris had more views on YouTube overall.

 Chris must have really impressed the casual voters in a finale with double the number of viewers we have now. And he did not get the “hate” that Wendy is getting on social media.

In fact, Gwen is the one that copped an incredible amount of hate from country fans that season. 

 

 

It's understandable that she would have more sales compared to GNT. iTunes ranking mattered that season. If the iTunes bonuses were a thing this season, I could see GNT having the same level of dominance on the charts as that of Chloe Kohanski in S13.

I don't like their ballad that much compared to their upbeat song. Wendy will probably beat them on FB stats for the ballad. Keep voting for GNT

Are the votes cumulative like they tally starting from the Top 13 live shows till the finale? Or the winner is decided based only on the votes garnered in the finals?

We have to be grateful that GNT picked The Chain as their upbeat song instead of Mmmbop by The Hanson
