Best finale nights? (Based on the actual performances)

Which seasons you consider had the best finale nights based on the performances??

Worst: S2, Best: S5

 

Worst: S18 (partially due to the format and non live shows but honestly I can’t even remember anything other than Micah’s 2 performances and Cam’s Purple Rain being bad) Runner up to S15 and 16 for obvious reasons but at least they had someone who I cared about

Best: S10 (this isn’t close tbh…)

 

Worst: S19, Best: 21 (close HM to 24) 

20, 23, 26 were also pretty boring but had a few good performances to redeem it

Gonna have to come back to this one cause I can hardly remember every finale performance from the pre covid seasons.

 

For post covid however, once again, it's hard to beat S21. Wendy had arguably the live performance of the season, Jershika had some of her best live showings. Paris, Hailey and GNT all had solid nights. I don't think there was a single bad performance.

I can think of one 

Paris was also fine but did nothing for me (same with most of his performances that season tbh)

 

That's why I personally put S24 close since only Lila really flopped. Both were strong finales overall though.

You talking about Paris's "Ain't nobody"? Or

She struggled a lot with the song. It wasn't good. I saw someone criticizing her Top 12 performance the other day saying it was her worst but there were some vocal moments on that one i enjoyed, which didn't happened with this one, which was, IMO, her worst and easily the worst performance of the night. 

 

Her other finale performance though...she did a sublime job there.
