*Diana Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) Nicole Franzel-Arroyo (Season 18) Our 3 cuts from 12 am CST which is now so I will get this started. I am going to take thia chance while I have the chance and cut Nicole Franzel-Arroyo..maybe I'll get a chance to in the big brother game too that we have going on but for now this will due Nicole has won big brother twice, I am cutting her Season 18 version at the moment. That season sucked and good for her that she won but it was not easy to sit through watching her be absolutely miserable and insufferable that season. Some people just seem miserable and Nicole is one of them. Why they continue to being her on over and over and then they over look her and she lasts the whole time it's just awful for me as a viewer. Good for her winning I guess. Saving Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani (DWTS) Edited January 8 by *Diana
*Diana Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) Jordan Rodgers I feel like overall the Bachelorette has some really awful winners and I'll be taking some of them out as I can (I may have moved some on just to give us some easy cuts which helps this format right now lol Anyway Jordan is a part of beloved bachelorette pairing of JoJo and Jordan. Why am I cutting him you may ask? Well, I feel like he often gets a pass for him questionable takes and pasts and is a bigger threat to pass on by getting saved because he is a part of a "cute' bachelor nation couple. No thank you. If you are wondering about him look up his college experiences and how homophobic he is For example, this is public information in regards to his time in college “Rodgers is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which is opposed to homosexuality and whose website talks about "saving" gays from their "lifestyle." It's sickening. On top of that as much as they have tried to hide it on social media Jojo & Jordan have been linked to Tomi Lahren and so that tells me he hasn't charged one bit. Saving Meryl Davis & Maksim Chmerkovskiy (DWTS) Edited January 8 by *Diana
*Diana Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) Nicole Scherzinger & Derek Hough Will this choice be controversial? I'm guessing so and I am honestly not a bit sorry. Nicole was a great dancer with a great pro. That's awesome for her. But that does not excuse her from her actions. "On Election Day November 5, media personality Russell Brand shared a selfie with a red "Make Jesus First Again" hat, stylized to mimic Trump's Make America Great Again branding. Scherzinger left a comment that read "Where do I get this hat!!!?," she also doubled down on her views by supporting Robert F Kennedy's post about Trump. Only after the backlash did she then go on social media to "apologize" and play victim that no one knows her character well we do actually. You can be openly MAGA in 2024/2025 but I am going to cut you and not feel bad just because you were a trained dancer (no hate there many of my favorites on DWTS were ringers) that did well on a dancing show. Saving Parvati Shallow (Survior) Edited Sunday at 02:29 PM by *Diana 1
*Wallace Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Gahh here I was gonna be a little sad but not upset about Jordan's cut. I do like him and like him/JoJo from the show and what I've seen of them but I get it. But Ugh noooo, not Nicole & Derek getting cut THIS soon. I totally get the reasoning with the political stuff and won't argue (was disappointing) but just ugh. Now I'm bummed for not giving them one of my immunities as I let that stuff slip my mind. And I thought other winners had even worse out-of-the-show stuff. She's still one of my all-time favorite celebs/dancers on the show from her and loved so many of her dances/performances, so sighh.
*Wallace Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Helen Wood (Big Brother UK, Series 14) Making the first cut is always such a tough decision to make. But I remember making Helen Wood my first cut in the last reality champions game. So I'd like to be ~boring~ and do the same thing with making Helen Wood my first cut here too. Though ugh with a certain cut already, I may have to change up my game plan but I'll think on that throughout the day. Helen Wood is the winner of Big Brother UK Series 15 which aired back in June through August 2014. Helen was definitely one of the most controversial people I've seen on this show. For some reason, Helen was granted some free pass to the final twist, where the housemates could never nominate her. So this gave her a lot of power that went to her head, she let loose and showed some really nasty colors to herself. I can't really go through nor remember her whole time on the show, but she was quite a nasty bully to many housemates. She got into sooo many arguments and was just rather unlikable. Just quickly glancing through the wiki page, I saw "On Day 63, Helen was given her third warning after using threatening language when talking about Ashleigh." This was the norm for Helen - she would talk nasty about or towards people. She would get warnings for it. She may have apologized to look good or stood by what she said without apologizing, depending on the situation. But before her warning about Ashleigh, Helen had two other warnings. Helen received a warning of bullying Jale on Day 12. Then on Day 21, Helen received another warning of using threatening behavior to Matthew Davies. I feel like she would often get warnings but never get removed because of the ~entertainment~ or ~ratings~ she brought to the show. Helen and Ashleigh did combat with each other and it was like a battle of good vs. evil between them. The online fandom loved and rooted for Ashleigh. I thought Helen was polarizing and hated enough that she would place low in the final but sadly I was wrong. Helen somehow made it to the Top 2 with Ashleigh and lost. The fact that Helen beat out my favorites in Ashleigh and Christopher, who came in 2nd and 3rd, was super disappointing. I will give it to Helen that she is certainly memorable and she stands out more than some safe boring winners from BBUK. But just because she's memorable doesn't mean I have to like her. She did get into some drama post her series where she was banned from making appearances on BBUK. I can't recall why or what led to it but it did happen. As far as reality TV show winners, Helen is amongst one of my least favorites so I'm fine with cutting her right now. Saving: Brooke Burke & Derek Hough
*Chris Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Cutting: Rachel Kickconnell Garrett Yrigoyen Tyra Sanchez Saving: Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev Michelle Lesniak Franklin (Season 11) Sun/LeAnn Rimes
*Chris Posted January 8 Posted January 8 TYRA SANCHEZ RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE : SEASON 2 Tyra Sanchez is best known for her time on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 2, where she quickly established herself as a frontrunner and one of RuPaul's favorites of the season. It's often been suggested that in the earlier seasons of Drag Race, winning was more likely if you aligned with RuPaul's personal vision of drag or closely mirrored her style. Frequently referred to as "The Other Tyra" throughout the competition, she ultimately won the crown without ever landing in the bottom - a first in the franchise’s history, though fortunately, others have since followed suit. That said, I can’t say I was ever a fan of her time on the show. I found her overrated and heavily favored by the judges, and I don’t think her run has aged particularly well. Throughout the competition, Tyra was often the subject of feuds with other queens, including Tatianna, who famously declared on the main stage, “I don’t think you’re seeing that Tyra is a complete b!tch” - considering all of Tyra's vile and disgusting comments over the years, I think most fans will now agree with Tatianna's assessment. Among the long list of her appalling and vile behavior over the years are incidents such as telling a fan to go kill themselves, posting a mock obituary of fellow Season 3 queen Morgan McMichaels that redirected people to her SoundCloud page, and leaking the personal phone numbers of other queens. In 2018, she was banned from attending RuPaul's DragCon in Los Angeles after being accused of making terrorist threats against the event. Most recently, she made disgusting and vile comments about The Vivienne following her passing. When faced with calls to take accountability, Tyra consistently deflects blame, shifts responsibility onto others, or randomly decides to take an hiatus, hoping that people will forget about her actions. Time and time again, queens from RuPaul's Drag Race have tried to defend her, but at this point, most have reached their limit, unwilling to excuse her behaviour any longer. That being said, there’s a reason why she remains one of the most disliked winners in the franchise’s history. SAVING: CAROLINE FLACK & PASHA KOVALEV
*Chris Posted January 8 Posted January 8 GARRETT YRIGOYEN THE BACHELORETTE - SEASON 14 Garrett Yrigoyen appeared on the 14th season of The Bachelorette, where he ultimately became engaged to Becca Kufrin, a fan favorite from The Bachelor Season 22, known for experiencing an engagement break-up on live TV à la Melissa Rycroft. Even before the finale aired, it was obvious that Garrett was Becca’s final pick. How? While the producers certainly made it obvious through their editing, what truly spoiled his “win” was the revelation of his Instagram liking history, including posts mocking trans people, undocumented immigrants, left-wing women, and a survivor of the Parkland shooting. The controversy surfaced prior to the season premiere, prompting Becca to release a statement addressing it, a move that only made sense if Garrett was her final choice; It's hard to imagine she would have been asked to issue a statement otherwise. When Garrett finally addressed the scandal, post-season, his explanation was as follows: “Initially, when I followed those accounts, it’s because I am a patriotic guy. I do support our troops and I love my country, so when I saw those posts in the beginning, I would just scroll through — I see a guy in uniform or something like that — and I would just scroll through and just, I don’t know, double tap". Garrett’s mini-scandal forced The Bachelor franchise to confront the political conversations it had long avoided and that they kept sweeping under the rug. However, it came as no surprise when Becca and Garrett eventually ended their engagement - a split that seemed inevitable given their starkly different political beliefs. These days, Garrett is still a proud patriot who follows the likes of Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Lara Trump, Tomi Lahren, and Charlie Kirk. SAVING: SUN/LEANN RIMES 2
*Chris Posted January 8 Posted January 8 RACHAEL KIRKCONNELL THE BACHELOR - SEASON 25 Rachael Kirkconnell was introduced to us on The Bachelor Season 25, where the lead was Matt James, the franchise's first Black male lead. Originally slated to compete on The Bachelorette, Matt was fast-tracked into the role amidst the 2020 Black Lives Matter movement, a decision that felt performative. During her time on The Bachelor, she quickly formed a connection with Matt and it was obvious that she was front-runner. She ended up receiving the final rose, though he notably chose not to propose to her. Rachael’s time on The Bachelor, however, is more often remembered for the controversies that marked her casting on the show. As the show aired, revelations of her racist past came to light, including instances of cultural appropriation and her attendance at an antebellum-themed fraternity party - a fraternity with connection to the KKK - on a plantation in 2018, barely two years before filming. This sparked intense backlash and a reckoning for The Bachelor franchise, especially after longtime host Chris Harrison defended Rachael during a now-infamous interview with Rachel Lindsay, the franchise's first Black Bachelorette. In the infamous interview, Chris Harrison claimed that the controversial photo of Rachael was taken five years ago, but Rachel Lindsay quickly corrected him, pointing out that it was actually from 2018 - just two years before Rachael's appearance on The Bachelor. Chris then attempted to downplay the situation, saying, "Well, Rachel, is it a good look in 2018 or is it not a good look in 2021? Because there's a big difference." In response, Rachel Lindsay firmly stated, "It's not a good look ever because she's celebrating the old south. If I went to that party, what would I represent at that party?" Chris Harrison continued to defend Rachael for most of the interview, arguing that she deserved "grace" and "understanding" while criticizing what he perceived as "cancel culture." His defense of Rachael - and his failure to acknowledge the deeper implications of the photo - drew widespread condemnation. At the same time, Rachel Lindsay became a target of online harassment, leading her to delete her Instagram after being inundated with hate. It later emerged that Rachael had been ready to address the controversy but was reportedly advised by production to remain silent for weeks. When she finally spoke out, she took full accountability for her actions, urging people to stop defending her and to cease attacking Matt. In response, the BIPOC contestants from the season released a powerful joint statement calling out the franchise's systemic issues. The fallout led to Chris Harrison stepping down as host and sparked broader conversations about racism within The Bachelor franchise—issues that had long simmered but were now impossible to ignore. The "After the Final Rose" special, aired on March 15, 2021, revealed that Matt and Rachael had broken up due to the controversy, though their interactions hinted that reconciliation wasn’t entirely off the table. Sure enough, by April 7, 2021, they were spotted together publicly, and by April 28, their reunion was confirmed. This quick turnaround raised questions about whether their initial breakup was genuine or merely a calculated move to manage public perception. Rachael's tenure on The Bachelor undeniably had a significant impact, exposing deep-rooted racism within Bachelor Nation, both in its audience and behind the scenes. While these issues had surfaced before—most notably during Rachel Lindsay's season—the heightened visibility of social media amplified the conversations, forcing the franchise to confront its failings in a way it never had before. SAVING: MICHELLE LESNIAK FRANKLIN (SEASON 11)
*Wallace Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Holli Ugalde (Hell's Kitchen, Season 7) I know it's risky with cutting people you don't know but I'm gonna try to do a mixture of cuts of people I don't care for/like much and some I don't know but I'll do proper research before doing so. I was looking through some stats of Hell's Kitchen right now and decided to land upon Holli Ugalde. Let's get to know Holli. Holli Ugalde is a 24-year old Banquet Chef from San Bernardino, California, who won the 7th season of Hell's Kitchen, which aired from June through August 2010. Holli was amongst one of the youngest in the cast, alongside fellow 24-year old Maria Torrisi. Does this mean she's least experienced than the other chefs? Probably not and I'm sure age didn't have anything to do with this but it's fun to see and note. When looking at Holli's track record, it looks like it wasn't that strong and not as impressive as some other's winners track record. Early on the competition, it looks like it was men vs. women for the first four episode. Holli's women team lost the main dinner challenge on the first 3 episodes but won the 4th. There were three team switches after that, so a total of 4 team mix ups in these challenges. Holli's 2nd team lost on Episodes 5 & 6. Her third team (and second team switch).... welp, yep, you guessed it.... they lost three more main challenges, losing in Episodes 7, 8 and 9. There was a third and finish switch, in which Holli did win. It seems like Holli had a bad luck of teams she was in. But they also could have been good teams that prepared good teams, but the other team was just better. When it got to the individual portion of the game, Holli did well and was IN (aka "safe") through episodes 11 through 14. She did well enough to make it to the Final 2 up against Executive chef Jason "Jay" Santos. For Holli's finish dish/dinner meal, she selected Holli picked Autumn, Nilka and Siobhan to work with. Ultimately, Gordon Ramsey selected Holli as the winner of the season and Holli wins Season 7! With some facts after the show, Holli was promised the head chef position at the Savoy Grill in London. Sadly this deal did not pull through or ended up being the case. Gordon Ramsay explained that Holli was unable to travel and go to London due to visa issues. But there were disagreements and I take it that Holli called that reason an excuse and said "I don't know if they even applied for my visa" HMMMM. This is some drama here. Since she wasn't granted this big prize, Holli was instead given awarded an undisclosed amount of money in compensation and still got to keep her title for the season's winner. That's a sad ending for Holli regarding the aftermath of the show but I hope she is doing well with her cooking career nonetheless. Saving: Tom Chambers & Camilla Dallerup
*Wallace Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Garrett and Rachael K are definitely fair and easy cuts in the Bachelor Nation franchise. I knew Chris would do a great proper job of dragging them.

jarmon Posted January 8 Posted January 8 JOSH MARTINEZ Josh Martinez is the winner of Big Brother 19. One of the worst seasons of Big Brother, ever. And one of the worst winners EVER! Josh is one of the most annoying players to play Big Brother, he was literally a man-child. His behavior on the show is just unacceptable. He would perform with those damn pots and make a huge noise and get away with it. He was frustrating to watch. He fought with Jessica and was acting bold in that fight. He seemed to only want to fight with women, he was a weak ass b*tch, that's why. He knew he could not fight a man, so went after the pretty girl. I just despise Josh and I am so annoyed we saw him again on Reindeer Games and now he's like a staple on The Challenge but he hasn't won yet, thankfully. I just hope he keeps flopping. It brings me great pleasure to cut him from the Rankdown this early. SAVE: Charli D'Amelio & Mark Ballas
jarmon Posted January 8 Posted January 8 XAVIER PRATHER Xavier Prather is the winner of Big Brother 23. He was part of history with the Cookout as well as being the first African-American to win Big Brother. He honestly got very lucky to be a part of the Cookout as I think that's the only reason that he was able to make it as far as he did, in my own opinion that is. He won 3 HOH's and got out Brent, Kyland and Azah on those HOH's. It was upsetting for me as a viewer, that this historic season ended with one of the most boring winners, it's like Xavier had no personality whatsoever. His personality was being blinded by his crush on Alyssa, lol. That was funny to watch. He defs would've ruined the cookout plans had he not been nominated with Alyssa, because he would've used the POV on Alyssa 100%. I wish Tiffany had prioritized her game more to be honest, I would've took a Tiffany win over an Xavier win any day. Even though Tiffany is trash now. Xavier won by a 9-0 vote. SAVE: Jag Bains
Alex95 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Abbey Clancy & Aljaz Skorjanec Abbey Clancy is the winner of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She's known for being a model and tv personality. She was runner-up of Britain's Next Top Model in 2006 and then went on to be the host from 2015 till the show's cancellation in 2017. She also won this game last time around. I'm sure @FrogLenzen would have cut her if given the opportunity as that's his thing. But also a Top Model adjacent contestant maybe he wouldn't have? Abbey seemed to do well on her series. She and Natalie Gumede were consistently at the top of the leaderboard. The final four were all women so I'm sure IDF was living for this series. It seems like she's a popular winner, but not really the most beloved Strictly winner. Which is probably how she won last time. Unfortunately she won't be as lucky this time. Save Sandra Diaz-Twine (Pearl Islands) 3
jarmon Posted January 8 Posted January 8 LEE DEWYZE Lee DeWyze is the winner of American Idol Season 9. Why is it always the ninth season of reality shows that have terrible winners? Like look at Big Brother. Anyways, he is probably one of the worst winners of American Idol, he is just not talented at all to me. I think his voice is underwhelming. I think this whole season was underwhelming. I was rooting for Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Siobhan Magnus and Crystal Bowersox to win. I was very young when I watched this season but I remember liking them and Haeley Vaughn for some reason lol. I just listened now to Lilly Scott's version of "A Change Is Gonna Come" randomly and actually not too bad. Anyways, back to Lee, worst winner. He had some nice song choices I guess, such as "One of Us", "You Found Me", "Chasing Cars", "Fireflies", "You're Still the One" and "Everybody Hurts" but otherwise, his talent didn't do those songs justice, so out of the Rankdown he goes now. SAVE: Priyanka.
