Worst Ever Performances from The Voice

I'm curious to as what are the trainwreck performances. Usually, The Voice has the more positive environment, but it'll be interesting. I do want the worst of the worst and not just something that's not just average

Probably one of the few performances that made me feel really bad for a contestant..

 

He had his issues in previous performances but this was a new level, there had to be  issues  with his ear buds or the sound..

I don't think it was that bad, just an average performance with a lot of issues, and there were much worse performances than hers in the same round. Her Shallow performance however, is really really bad and nothing can make up for it.

Kota Wade - Barracuda (when the video was up on the YT channel it held way more dislikes than likes)

Braiden Sunshine - Radioactive

Nick Hagelin - All of them but specifically Your Body Is a Wonderland

Shilo Gold - Stay With Me Baby

my only objection is that picking any ryleigh plank performance that isn’t her playoffs performance is a disservice to terrible whitney houston covers everywhere. thought rhiannon was unmemorable but not even the worst performance that night tbh?

It's a shame that the live performance of TJW's Blank Space ended up being that awful, because the studio is fantastic. On a second thought, I'd nominate Fancy by Reagan James as the worst S7 one

I guess in response to this and @Weirdoo reply as well, I would take into consideration if they did a hard song or a song that's just not very fit to be covered in a singing show (I'm Your Baby Tonight and Fancy are examples especially the latter) then I gave a little more leeway than if they did a song that I didn't think was that hard and still messed it up (Taylor John especially should've done fine with Blank Space, and Rhiannon wasn't as ambitious vocally as Whitney, Ariana, even Demi, etc)

ok also off topic but now I'm just curious who you think the worst of the night was (the only other I can nominate is Shadale, unfortunately since I really liked her but the song choice was all wrong), maybe Jim & Sasha too but tbh I just can't remember that performance lol

Personally, I think this is the correct answer. That was the only performance that I would say was bad. Shadale had a horrible song choice, but I didn’t think she did alright with what she was given. Ryleigh’s was boring, but it was a passable vocal. There were others that night that gave very uninteresting performances (Hailey, Jeremy, Paris, and even Wendy), but none of those were bad by any means.

 

As for the worst performance of that season… yeah it’s Ryleigh’s PO. That was a mess and a half.
